HERO WRITTEN WITHIN THE SHADOWS ~ Chapter 149

"AHAHAHAH!" Zethus Byleth laughed as he attacked the heroes. He shot a spell at them and they moved out of the way. The heroes looked up at him in disbelief as Zethus Byleth got himself ready to attack. Soon he ordered Chrom and Alear to attack the heroes.

Celica shouted, "WATCH OUT!" The heroes jumped out of the way as Chrom and Alear attempted to hit them with their swords. However, Chrom dashed over to Shez and slammed his blade against Shez's swords. "SHEZ!!" Celica dashed over and casted a spell on Chrom. He jumped backward and clutched onto his shoulder, but he was still able to fight.

Zethus Byleth laughed, "YOU HEROES WILL NEVER WIN NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!! AHAHAH!! MY REIGN WILL SHINE THROUGH AND I'LL MAKE SURE OF IT!!" The heroes looked at him in anger as Zethus Byleth launched himself into the air. Suddenly he started spinning around becoming a rushing energy of power.

Veyle asked, "WHAT IS HE DOING?!"

"I don't know... but we need to prepare for what's going to come..." Shez whispered. The heroes looked up as the orb of energy got bigger and bigger. The heroes backed into the door as Chrom and Alear then gave their energies to Zethus Byleth.

Kirby yelled, "Shez! They're giving their energies to Zethus!" The group looked up in horror as the orb of energy was now filled with energies of the heroes. They didn't know what was going to happen, too afraid to even know.

"AHAHAHAHA!!" Zethus laughed as he slammed onto the ground. Suddenly there was a huge blast of light. The roof of the castle was blasted off as a void opened at the very top of it. Zethus was now filled with so much power.

Celica asked, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

"MAKING SURE YOU HEROES NEVER STOP ME IN MY PLAN!!!" Zethus laughed. He looked down at himself, his attire was purple and black and his eyes were both purple and black as well.

Veyle shouted, "WE NEED TO STOP HIM NOW!!" The heroes dashed to attack him but Chrom and Alear jumped in between and slammed their blades against the heroes. They were pushed back as Zethus smiled at the heroes...

"AHAHAAHAH!!!" Zethus laughed hysterically. The heroes looked at him as Celica got ready to shoot a spell at Chrom and Alear...

"HAHH!!" Byleth shouted as he slammed his sword against Zethus Byleth. He fell backward and looked over in confusion. "You're wondering how I broke out aren't you?"

Zethus Byleth laughed, "You'll never find a way to stop my plan. Then... I will make sure you are eliminated." Byleth looked at him and dashed at him again. He jumped into the air and whipped Zethus Byleth. "WHAT THE-"

Byleth shouted, "I WILL NO LONGER TOLERATE THIS ANYMORE LONGER! YOU WILL NEVER FIND A WAY TO WIN!!" Zethus Byleth glared at Byleth as he got his hands ready to perform a spell. However, Byleth jumped in and slammed his sword against Zethus Byleth before he had a chance to cast the spell. "YOU WILL... NEVER WIN!!!"

Zethus Byleth laughed, "KEEP TRYING IT WILL NEVER WORK OUT IN THE END!!"

"HAHHH!!" Celica shouted as she casted the spell. It hit Chrom and Alear and they were sent flying toward the back. They fell onto the ground as Zethus chuckled. He raised his hands into the air and shot a spell at the heroes. They barely dodged it as Shez looked down at himself.

Shez explained, "WE NEED TO DO WHAT THE BOOK ASKED FOR US! OTHERWISE WE WILL NEVER FIND A WAY TO SAVE BYLETH!" The heroes looked at each other and they all stood up. "You all deal with the corrupted heroes, I'll deal with Zethus."

Celica asked, "Shez... we're all trusting in you to break the crown. If you don't... all of Dawn will fall into ruins." Shez looked at her and took a deep breath. He turned toward Zethus as he stood there smiling at Shez. The Sword of The Creator was covered in a purple aura, but it appeared... to be black.
