Chapter 30 - His statement.

Jungkook's POV 

Anxiously looking around the clock, I wanted the time to quickly pass so Taehyung can pick me up. I flinched as my phone let out a notification sound. 

"Taehyung already made the statement." Rose announced and I quickly opened my blog. The title is 'Official Statement', I quickly clicked it and suddenly there's a video of Taehyung. 

I pressed play nervously. 

Good afternoon Red Heart reader and followers. I bet you all are not shocked to see my face here because the article that recently went out. Let me introduce myself officially, I'm Kim Taehyung and you all must know me quite well." He smirked. 

"Firstly about 3 months ago there's a article about me and the 7 Gold Lifes here in Red Heart's official website and I know you all readers let out so many comments about it. I saw it too especially when that article was insulting me and the 7 Gold Lifes." 

"Jeon Jungkook as you guys know, the writer of this blog or you know him as Red Heart met me 3 months ago. I hurted his feelings so bad at that time and he got fired from his job because of me. That's my fault I made him sad and he was fired while he has to work to live." 

"I decided to look for him in many ways and I found him. I threatened him to throw him to jail or payback me a lot of money because the cause of insulting me in the media where he has 1.5 million followers." 

"He was strong when he face me and that's when I took interest in him. I made him to be my secretary and there's ups and downs for the past months. Now I fall on his feet, not because he seduce me like you all think." 

"He doesn't seduce me or flirt with me, he was far from that. He was brave to cut me, annoy me and keep getting on my nerves because of that I cause at our first meeting." 

"Apparently someone found out about her being the Red Heart and she doesn't like the fact that Jungkook's with me. She decided to let it out to the world to make it as a revenge but I can't stay silent right? Jungkook has bring me back to the right path and make me a better person, so I want you all to respect this and not leave him hate comments and something like that because you will face Kim Taehyung." 

"We have our ups and downs this past few months and don't judge just because he suddenly date me and looked for fame because of that. No! He's a low profile boy to stop judging him that he's a gold digger and something like that. You only know our names not our story so stop judging us. I really cherish this boy and care for him a lot so I wish you can let us live a normal life like other couples do." He smiled. 

"That's all I want to say, thank you." He ended the video and I can't say anything. I decided to dial his number and after a few beeps. 

"Hey bub, miss me?" His voice made me relax. 

"I saw the statement." I said. 

"Touched?" He joked and I chuckled. 

"Thank you." I said. 

"You know if you want to make one you can, and I'm letting you." He said and I can't help but smile. 

"Thank you!" I said excitedly. 

"Easy there, I'll pick you up in 1 hour okay? Text me where you at." He said. 

"Okay." We ended the call after that, Rose suddenly poked me and took Lia's attention. 

"What what?" Lia said. 

"Laura's article is out." She said and I quickly opened my phone to look at the news. I gasped as I saw the article, oh man!

"The boys really did a great job." Lia stated. 

"7 Gold Lifes after all, you won't be shock to see this kind of situation in the future and I've always loved their friendship." Rose said.

"Hey the comments at Taehyung's statement are quite good." Lia said and I quickly opened it. 

"You know.. Taehyung is really the best out of 7." Rose stated and Lia pouted. 

"Aaron too." Lia said and it made Rose laugh. 

"They're different Lia." 

I looked at the comments at Taehyung's statement, they all started to let out their opinion. There were some hate comments but not as previous one. There's a lot of comments like 'you're so lucky to have Taehyung', I can't but agree with that. 

I was more than lucky, he's the best thing in my life. I never left so happy in my life and he gave me that. I never been so grateful. 

"Oh Laura is in a deep shit right now." Rose laughed her butt off. 

"They really did a good jod to take care of the article." Lia laughed too. 

"I pity Mingyu." I stated and they both turned to me. 

"Don't pity him Jungkook, he's no better." Rose said and Lia nodded agreeing. 

"Why?" 

"There's a lot of things about him that isn't right." Lia answered and I nodded not wanting to know because I'm not going to see him anyway. 

Suddenly I got a text from Taehyung that he's already in front of the cafe. I looked at the girls and thanked them. Promise them to treat them a lunch sometime and they gladly agree. They're so sweet and I know we will be good friends in the future. 

I walked out from the cafe and see Taehyung's car, I quickly got inside. Seeing his face made me feel so happy. I gave him a peck on the lips. 

"You know I hate you." I said and he chuckled knowing what I'm talking about. 

"Why is that?" He pretended to ask. 

"Leaving me with the girls while you're taking care of all of this." 

"Sorry about that bub." He held my hand and kissed back of it. 

"How about we eat dinner and then we can stroll at the city?" He asked and I turned to him. 

"Really? We can do that?" 

"Of course, why can't we?" He chuckled. 

"I would love to do that." I said and a boxy smile was plastered on his face which I love the most in this world.
