Got another request for these two
Today was one of the days New York wasn't feeling good. He and a couple other states had gone out yesterday, and forgotten their umbrellas. Primarily since it was California who assured them they didn't need them since it rarely rains in SoCal, and even then most of the time the weather report isn't even accurate, so they were good to go out.
California was wrong. Instead they got soaked, New York wasn't one to usually get sick. No, he was always prepared, always had an umbrella, always had a coat, always prepared.
Though he decided to give his friend a chance, causing him, and the states New York was out with, to get sick.
"Yorkie ya good?"
Georgia poked at New York, who was still lying in bed.
"Maple get up."
"No."
"Are you feeling bad?"
"I'm fine peach."
Georgia pushed the others shoulder a bit.
"You're not huh?"
New York only let out a small groan.
"I'll go get ya some tea n tell gov you won't be comin to the meeting."
"Alright."
New York was somewhat conflicted, on one hand he didn't want to go to the meeting but he'd rather say Florida has ever made a smart decision than admit he's sick, far less get help.
He looked out to the hallway, where he could see a couple states being dragged out of bed while either coughing or sneezing up a storm. New York hadn't caught it that bad, but that wouldn't stop Georgia from worrying.
When Georgie finally returned he came back with a cup of tea, a thermometer, and a few extra blankets.
"Can ya check your temperature or ya want me to that for you?"
"I'll do it myself hun, can yous get me some clothes to change into though?"
"Sure."
New York fixed the thermometer to the required spot while Georgia looked through the others' closet.
"I think I can go to the meetin today."
"I'm not sure about that. Why not just cuddle instead."
"Alright peach."
New York changed after taking the thermometer out and handing it to the other.
"102! Damn you're not that good."
"I know."
"We can just sleep the whole day?."
"Sure darling."
