Wei ying, lan zhan, xue yang and wen ning were greeted with a very smiling shifu, which is, in no way good for them.
On reaching in front of their manor, wei ying smiled sheepishly and tried to talk his shifu out.

"Good morning da-jiu, what are you doing here?" He asked trying to sound as normal as possible

"Good morning to you too, my dear zhizi" he said too sweetly with a creepy smile that send shivers down their spine and wei ying knew at that instant

'That's it, we are as good as dead now' he thought nervously and looked at his companions but had to turn back when his da-jiu continued

"I am here to welcome my favorite disciples. Now why don't you all tell your shifu about your adventure?" He again asked sweetly with that creepy smile of his, filling them with dread

"Huhhh" shouted all of them except lan wangji whose eyes widens with shock, but he can't loose his cool and shows his panicked expression otherwise wei ying and xue yang will tease him to no end. Plus he can't embarrass himself in front of his in-laws. Now, can he?

"Shifu, we just wanted..." xue yang started but was stopped by wei ying as he was going to expose them

"Hahaha...da-jiu, there was no adventure. We all just went out for a walk, nothing more and on the way we met some people. We just wanted to help poor and needy." He said trying to ease the situation

'What a lame excuse, even a child wouldn't believe it. Now we are really doomed' thought other three

"Ahh...help...is that why you all made a-chen drunk and extracted information about those corpses and yaos, from him"
He said raising one of his eyebrows looking skeptically at them

"No no no da-jiu, it wasn't me. It was a-yang. He planned this" wei ying immediately denied while pointing his finger towards Xue yang

"Hey!!! Even if I planned this, you are the one who executed it. You made him drunk" Xue yang retorded

"But you wanted to go without informing"

"And who suggested it, that we will be back before they knew it"

"Shut up,both of you. Your punishments will be worst this time. Let's see if you will still be this reckless again" he snapped making all of them nervous

"You have all the time in the world to punish them yan-ge, but let me meet my kid first" came the slightly wavering voice of wei changze. He was too emotional seeing his ying-er grown up this much. He had been filled up, on what has been happened, details about them and others.

Wei ying's pov

I was too scared thinking what will be the punishment when I heard a way too familiar voice that made me froze. I can recognize the voice but can't move an inch or turn towards the source to confirm my suspicion. I was too scared, what if it was one of my wishful thinking. I know that a-die is alive but in coma, but laolao still hasn't approved me to see him. So how can it be?

I was drown in my thoughts when I felt someone touching my shoulders. I looked up only to find my father with a small smile on his face, just like I remembered. Tears started to fall from my eyes and I hugged him immediately . A-die started patting my head to calm me down.

"A...a-di...a-die...wh..where were y..you. I mis...missed yo...you so much. You bo...both lef..t me alo...ne" I started sobbing loudly mumbling things. Hearing him saying these things broke other people's heart.

They know that he loved them and they loved him too but they can't take his parents place.

"I'm sorry, ying-er. I am really sorry for leaving you and a-se alone"
