"This cake is so good!" Kal exclaimed, taking another bite.
Nia laughed. "That's good."
"So, what's the plan for after we eat?" Leeli asked.
Everyone turned to Sara, who, just like Janner, hated being put on the spotlight.
"Um, I....I really haven't thought about it." She answered.
Kalmar chuckled. "We could go fishing!"
"But it's winter outside." Janner stated.
Kal shrugged.
A great part of the day was spent trying to figure out what to do, and before they knew it, guests were arriving for Sara's party.
"Uh, what do we do with the guests?" Kal asked. "The party doesn't even start for another hour."
Sara shrugged. "Let them explore the castle? It's not like we don't know any of these people."
As Kal was about to answer, a palace guard rushed into the room.
"Captain, what's wrong?" Kalmar asked.
The captain struggled for breath. "Fangs!"

Janner paced his room, trying to calm down. The party is gonna go fine. He thought. He hoped. Calm down. You shouldn't be so nervous.
Janner heard a knock on his door. He opened it to find Kal standing there.
"Hurry! Come with me!"
"What's wrong Kal?"
"Fangs!"
