Chapter 14

"Fangs?" Janner was taken back.

Kal looked frantic. "Yes! Now, we need to hurry!"

Janner followed his brother out of his room, and they ran all the way to the Royal Courtroom. All of Kal's royal advisors, as well as the rest of the Royal Family awaited the brothers. Palace servants and guards of rank were in the room as well.

Kal, Janner, and Leeli took their places on the thrones, that sat in the center of the wall in the room.

Elder Cadwick, Kal's chief Advisor, stood up. "High King, we have a problem."

Kal sighed. "I know, Fangs."

Whispers were heard among the people when Kal said that.

Harold, another royal advisor, spoke up. "May I suggest something?"

"Of course." Kal said.

"I suggest that we call the Green Hollows for support. And that we rally all of the able-bodied men in Anniera to attack the threat. We get all of our troops on them, and we get the Annieran Navy on their ships."

"I lie what you say." Kal said. "Go on."

"So, we take this threat on with full-force?" Janner asked.

Harold smiled and nodded his head.

Kal stood up. "I agree. General Smith?"

A man dressed in full armor stepped forward. The General of the Annieran Army.

"Get your troops together. You know what to do." Kal said.

"Your wish is my command." The general bowed, then stormed out.

"Now, General Grant?"

Another man dressed in armor like the last man stepped forward.

"Get your ships and sailors ready. You know what to do next." Kal said.

The general bowed, then ran out of the room.

Kal faced the rest of the people.

"I want you all to remain calm, and stay in the castle."
