Steve and I walk down to the lab where Tony and Banner were. We walk in to see Tony giving Banner a little zap with something harmless.

    "Ow!" Banner yelped.

"Hey!" Steve yelled as we walked over, "Are you nuts?"

"Jury's out. You really have got a lid on it, haven't you? What's your secret?" Tony asked Banner. "Mellow jazz, bongo drums, huge bag of weed?"

"Or maybe his urge to not harm anybody and to just be him is stronger than the anger." I say and Banner looks up at me.

"Is everything a joke to you?" Steve asked Tony.

"Funny things are." Tony pointed out.

"Threatening the safety of everyone on this ship isn't funny. No offence, Doc." Steve said.

"It's all right, I wouldn't have come aboard if I couldn't handle pointy things." Banner said.

"You're tip-toeing, big man. You need to strut." Tony said walking away.

"And you need to focus on the problem, Mr. Stark." Steve told him.

"Do you think I'm not?" Tony said.

"It doesn't look like you are." I say.

"Why did Fury call us in? Why now? Why not before?" Tony said walking back beside Banner. "What isn't he telling us? I can't do the equations, unless I have all the variables."

"You think Fury's hiding something?" Steve asked.

"He's a spy. Captain, he's 'the' spy. His secrets have secrets. It's bugging him, too. Isn't it?" Tony said referring to Banner.

"Uh... I just want to finish my work here, and..." Banner said pushing off the question.

"Doctor?" Steve asked.

"'A warm light for all mankind.' Loki's jab at Fury about the Cube." Banner said.

"I heard it." Steve said.

"Yeah, I thought he meant the sun." I say.

"I think that was meant for you." Banner said pointing at Tony and Tony offered Banner some food. "Even if Barton didn't tell Loki about the tower, it was still all over the news."

"The Stark Tower? That big, ugly..." Tony gave Steve a look. "Building in New York?"

"It's powered by an arc reactor, a self-sustaining energy source. That building will run itself for, what, a year?" Banner asked.

"It's just the prototype. I'm kind of the only name in clean energy right now. That's what he's getting at." Tony explained.

"So, why didn't S.H.I.E.L.D. Bring him in on the Tesseract project? What are they doing in the energy business in the first place?" Banner asked.

"I should probably look into that once my decryption program finishes breaking into all of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s secure files." Tony said casually.

"I'm sorry?" I question.

"Did you say..."Steve started.
