I wish yesterday was a bad dream, but it was not.

After my emotional breakdown, I skipped media and went straight to the hotel.

I know as F1 drivers we shouldn't showcase our emotions like that, thus I apologize to everyone, but can you blame me?

ugh anyways

It's now 4am and I can't fall back asleep, so I'm bothering Xena.

I sat in her room watching her on the bed as she's half asleep.

"and that's how I got this scar" I said showing her the dark line on my knee.

"uh huh" she said dazed as her face was smushed into her pillow.

"oh do you want to hear about my first kiss?" I smiled spinning around in the chair.

oh my first kiss what a day

She sat up and grabbed something from her nightstand and a cup of water.

"what is-"

She leant forwards shoved whatever it was into my mouth then force fed me the water.

I pushed her off coughing.

"w-what was that?"

"sleepy time" she yawned falling back onto the bed.

"but I'm not tir-"

flop

7:00pm

"I can't believe you actually gave me a sleeping pill" I huffed as we walked to the paddock.

I ran a hand through my hair as I sipped on a cup of espresso.

"you know I love you but you wouldn't shut up" she whined.

I rolled my eyes handing her the now empty cup.

I tied the sleeves of my suit around my waist before putting my hair up into a ponytail.

Yes, it's long awaited day that everyone's been waiting for.

it's race day

She then handed me my Red Bull.

weird combo but trust me it works

I bit down on the straw ignoring media screaming at me to make a statement on the car and me being in P15.

We reached the paddock and I was greeted by Giancarlo and Niko.

"how are you dear?" Giancarlo asked.

I gave him a small smile.

"I'm fine"

He nodded heading off to the pit wall.

"you're dad didn't pay that much money for you to go out only on your 2nd race" Niko said kissing my forehead.
