"yes Esteban"

"no Esteban"

"okay Esteban"

Gina snatched the phone from me.

"everything is done. just hurry up and get your ass here" she huffed hanging up the phone.

I laughed hugging her.

"I love you" I smiled.

"I know" she winked.

I giggled watching her as she headed to the kitchen.

Planning Mick's birthday is one of the most difficult things I do every year because he's so simple.

You can literally just get him a plain sheet cake and a piece of paper with a chicken scratch happy birthday on it and he'd be happy.

he's a Schumacher

You'd expect him to be a stuck up prick, but he's far from that. He's amazing, down to earth and one of the most humble guys you'll ever meet.

he's perfect

This year, I planned something simple. Only a handful of people are coming and it's at the family cabin.

I yawned running a hand through my hair.

As I closed my laptop the door opened.

Angie came running into the living room and jumped up on me.

I giggled as she began to lick my face.

"hey that's my job" Mick teased shooing her away.

I chuckled as he kissed me.

"I prefer Angies"

He rolled his eyes going into the kitchen.

"so about tomorrow, I was thinking of celebrating just the two of us" he said taking a bite of a apple.

I frowned.

"why?" I asked turning around.

He shrugged.

"I just want some alone time with you" he said walking towards me.

He sat down beside me and laid down on my lap.

I smiled down at him running my fingers through his hair.

Ladies find yourself a man who wants to celebrate his birthday with you and only you.

but sorry mickypoo no can do

Just as his eyes closed, from my peripheral I saw Gina carrying out some party supplies. I put my finger to my lips motioning for her to be quiet.

She nodded heading to the door.

Her and I are heading up to the cabin to finish setting up.

Once he was asleep, that was my cue to leave.
