This week has flown by so fast.
It's already Saturday and we're getting ready to begin quali.
I flipped my hair back as I watched the guys work on my car.
I tied my sleeves around my waist as I walked to my drivers room. As I went to close my door, a foot stopped it.
I pulled back and saw Dennis.
I rolled my eyes.
He stepped in and closed the door behind him.
I whined struggling to take my fireproofs off.
it's so hot and I'm sweaty
"just come"
He grabbed my waist and pulled me against him. He helped me lift it over my head. I sighed in relief as the cool air touched my burning skin.
He whistled sitting down on my bed.
I tied my hair up into my pony tail.
"the scar is still there" I mumbled running my fingers along the dark line on my lower stomach.
He sighed.
"you know you gave us all a scare that night"
I wouldn't know because I was sorta kinda...
UNCONSCIOUS!
I chuckled softly sitting down beside him.
"how was I supposed to know my appendix was going to burst?"
He shook his head wrapping his arm around me. I leaned my head on his shoulder pecking his cheek.
"you're lucky Luca and me was home with you"
"I know otherwise I might've..."
I gulped.
"shh don't say it" he said resting his head on top of mines.
I interlocked my fingers with his and kissed his hand.
"everyday I thank god for putting you in my life"
He sighed.
"and everyday I curse him for letting you slip away from me"
I closed my eyes standing up.
"in our next life Dennis"
He stood up as well. He wrapped his arms around me and backed us up till we were against the wall. I shivered as the cold wall touched my bare back.
"I ask myself everyday how I managed to lose you?" He mumbled.
My eyes softened.
"we were endgame mani"
