I hummed waking up to the sound of rain outside.
I rolled around in my bed for a few minutes before sitting up.
I smiled.
oh Singapore
I got up and slipped on my bedroom slippers before opening my terrace doors to let in some fresh air.
I washed up and ordered room service before settling down outside to enjoy my tea and biscuits.
It's officially Saturday so that means it's time to lock in.
Interestingly enough, our car hasn't been performing up to par.
I frowned going through my data sheets.
"hello neighbor"
I looked up and saw Liam in the terrace over.
"hey kiwi" I teased.
"mind if I join?"
I shook my head no.
A few minutes later there was a knock at my door. I quickly stashed away my papers then invited him in.
"so how are you liking F1 life?" I asked pouring him a cup of tea.
He thanked me taking a sip.
"I can sure get used to it that's for sure"
I chuckled.
"you know I will admit that it's nice having you on the grid"
He looked up.
"I mean Oscar, Logan, you and I we all came up together so it's like a family reunion"
He smiled nodding.
"you do know your seat should've been mines right?"
I sighed rolling my eyes.
"yes I know Liam"
"but"
"but?"
"I'm glad you have it"
hold the phone-
"say what?"
"Amani let's be honest, we both know I wouldn't have been able to do what you've been doing with the seat. I'm so proud of you"
I wiped away the invisible tears.
"oh how I love you Lawson"
"I know" he smirked.
After we finished up, we said our goodbyes and I quickly showered.
It wasn't raining as hard as it was earlier, so I decided to dress up a little.
