I giggled turning around.
I don't know about you but I'm feeling 20 tooooooo
I rolled onto his chest nuzzling my face in his neck.
He chuckled hugging me.
"we can stay in bed all day if you want" he said.
I smiled looking up at him.
"and what about everyone else?"
"who cares about everyone else? it's your day"
I cupped his face kissing him.
"and as much as I'd love to stay in bed with you all day they're going to be breaking down that door in 3...2..."
"happy birthday!"
I closed my eyes holding Mick tighter as they set off confetti cannons.
I rolled off him and sat up.
"oh my god"
Everyone was wearing shirts with my face on them.
I busted out laughing.
"what is this?"
"you're the last one to turn 20, so of course we had to go all out" Gianluca smiled walking towards me.
I hugged him kissing his cheek.
"come on blow your candles out" Carmen smiled walking towards me with a plate of pancakes with candles on it.
I giggled holding Mick's hand.
I closed my eyes.
I wish that everything would stay as it is forever
I opened them back and blew them out as everyone clapped.
"Logan made the pancakes so be careful" Oscar teased.
After everyone wished me happy birthday they all left the room so that Mick and I could wash up.
"I can't believe you really did all of this" I smiled at him as I sat on the sink.
He rolled his eyes.
"Amani you're my girlfriend, this isn't even half of what you deserve"
I pulled him in between my legs and wrapped my arms around his neck. He smiled running his fingers through my hair.
"just yesterday I was 16 and you were complaining about my school uniform and now look at us"
He chuckled.
"even Gianluca said the skirt was too short"
I rolled my eyes.
"when you look like me, you need to showcase it" I winked.
