"Is that everyone?" I ask as I geo-leaped a few people into the forest while Bree super-speeded behind me.

"Yeah, that's the last few. Everybody's safe, including one very ungrateful grizzly." Bree says just as a bear growls at her from a distance. "Oh, shut it!"

"Fire Department can handle things from here. Great work, guys." Chase says as everyone we saved from the fire starts cheering for us.

"Ah, life is so much better now we don't have to keep our missions a secret," Adam says as we sign some autographs.

"I know. Now people can tell us how great we are right to our faces." Leo says.

"Adam, Bree, Chase, and Cassie. Adam, Bree, Chase, and Cassie." The people chant.

"Are you kidding me?" Leo says. "I've been going on missions for over a month. How can these people not know my name?"

"Maybe you should change it to something people won't forget, like, uh, Gregorio Spiridakis, or Pickles O'Malley," Adam says.

"Can I have your attention, please? I'd like to point out that Adam, Bree, Chase, and Cassie weren't the only heroes. I personally saved six people." Leo says.

"Adam, Bree, Chase, Cassie, and that guy. Adam, Bree, Chase, Cassie, and that guy." The people chant.

"All right, the six I saved, back in the fire," Leo says.

"So long story short, Donny put me in charge of developing technology for the academy. But only on a trial basis." Douglas says as he, Leo, Bob, Spin, and I stand in the common room.

"Why just a trial basis?" Spin asks.

"I honestly don't know," Douglas says.

"You kidnapped me and tried to annihilate my whole family," I say, giving Douglas a look.

"Look, the point is, I have the chance to get back into my brother's good graces. So I've been working on some new devices that are really going to impress Donny." Douglas says. "What do you guys wanna see first? The Stabber 2000? Plague in a bottle? Uh-oh. Here comes the pencil bazooka. You can't erase the injuries this thing will cause."

"How would any of those be used at the academy?" Spin says.

"Well, how should I know? This one with the questions." Douglas says.

"Look, Douglas, Big D doesn't want violent devices. He wants things that are going to improve our lives." Leo says.

"Well, I don't know if that's really in my wheelhouse. I have been destroying things for years, and now I'm supposed to help people?" Douglas says. "Where did my life go so wrong?"

"Come on, Douglas. You must have something." Leo says.

"Well...maybe that'll work," Douglas says, pointing to a white leather chair.

"Ooh, Italian furniture. I approve." Leo says.

"No! It's my lie-detector chair. Ya strap somebody into it, and ask 'em questions. It analyzes their vocal patterns, and determines if they're telling them the truth." Douglas says.

"I like it. But do you have anything in a lie-detecting hammock?" Bob says.

"Just try it out," Douglas says.

"Don't mind if I do," Bob says, sitting in the chair. "Wait. This thing's not gonna zap me if I tell a lie, is it?"

"No," Douglas says.
