Five years later:

Ryker:

My wife is still as beautiful as ever, and she gave birth to a lovely daughter who looks exactly like her. We named her Abigail because she has brought us so much joy and happiness, and I couldn't be more grateful.

She has my blue eyes and her mother's silky black hair, giving her a wonderful blend of both of us. She has a bright smile, very much like her mother. She even talks and acts like her. I still can't believe I have a small version of the woman I'm madly in love with.

I'm home now, and I can finally see my lovely girls. As I go through the front door, I am greeted by the sound of laughter and the sight of Laura and Abigail approaching. Abigail leapt into my arms with a squeal, her tiny arms wrapping tightly around my neck.

Laura followed close after, a smile never leaving her lips as she watched our daughter's excitement. At that moment, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the lovely family we had made together.

"Welcome home, Ryker." Laura spoke, her voice full of warmth and affection. "We missed you so much." I kissed Abigail's forehead and hugged her even tighter. I despise business trips because they prevent me from seeing my family.

"Now, Abigail, come here so your father can shower and rest." Laura smiled as she tried to convince Abigail to leave my side. Abigail hesitated for a moment, her eyes fixed on me, before slowly letting go and running into her mother's arms.

"Dad will be back before you know it," I promised Abigail, caressing her hair. "And we'll have so much fun together when I get back." Abigail nodded, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

I entered our bedroom and closed the door behind me, exhausted but relieved. I let the warm water wash away the stress of the day.

I will always be thankful that I married such a wonderful woman. Even though I leave frequently for work, she is still patient with me after five years of marriage. I couldn't help but be grateful for her understanding and support. Despite my many absences, she managed to raise such an intelligent and adorable daughter.

She's my other half—the half I never knew existed. She's the one who completes me in every way.

I never imagined I could laugh without worrying until I met her. I found myself smiling and laughing at everything she says or does, and simply watching her smile causes me to do the same.

Life without her in my eyes is as dark as a moonless night. Her presence adds light and warmth. She is the moon that pours light into my dark life, and I want to be the sun that shines on her and helps her shine even brighter because she is my wife, my everything, and my eternal love.

Laura:

My husband is still as attractive as ever, and Abigail has his mesmerizing sky-blue eyes. When I stare deeply into their eyes, I get lost in them. It's amazing how our daughter inherited not just his captivating eyes, but also his intelligence and charm. Despite being only four years old, Abigail has always been a quick learner, just like her father. I'm simply proud of her.

Emma and Kyle also have a four-year-old son, but he is a few months older than Abigail. He was given the name Felix. I expected him to be calm, like his mother, but we got a little Kyle. Just like his father, Felix is full of energy and playful at all times.
