Wednesday's POV:

It's dark. Pitch black all around me. I can't move. Why can't I move?

I hear quiet sobs in the darkness. Enid? Is that you? I try to reach for her but I can't. What is happening?

I feel something touch my hand. I can feel and hear... but cannot see. Why?

I try to open my eyes, but they don't open. I try again and again, practically forcing my eyes open.

Eventually... they open...

I'm walking around the quad. My hand is warm and I look over to find Enid holding it.

Thank god she's okay and well. But wait, why am I walking?

I see tears roll down Enid's cheek. "Enid? Are you okay?" I say, my head cocked to the side a little. She doesn't answer.

"Enid?" I say again but still no response. I stop walking and so does she. I turn my whole body towards her and she copies.

She wipes a tear off her cheek with her other hand, and as soon as she lets it fall, I try to grab it. But my hand goes right through hers? What the heck?

Am I dreaming?

"Enid," I say sternly. She's just staring at me, not answering a single thing I say.

I close my eyes for a brief moment, preparing myself to yell at her. But as soon as I open them up, I'm on my bed in the dorm. I shoot straight up.

Hello? I was just in the quad a second ago.

I look over towards Enid's side and see her sitting on the bed with Yoko sitting next to her. Enid's still crying and Yoko comforts her.

They talk. I can hear them.

"It's okay, Enid," Yoko says.

"I still feel like it's my fault," Enid replies.

What's her fault? What happened?

"It's not, but look, she wrote you a note! She still cares about you. When she wakes up, you guys will still be good!" Yoko says with a weak smile.

Wake up? I am awake, though.

"Guys! I'm literally right here!" I yell. I stand and walk over to the girls.

They pay no attention to me. They do look at me for a second and then back at each other.

"Hello?" I say to them. Yoko then pulls Enid into a hug. I reach my hand to rest on Enid's arm but it goes through them again. What the hell?

I started to get frustrated. What in the stupidity of the world is going on?

I storm off towards the door and slam it shut behind me as I walk out. But then I peer back into the room to see their movements haven't changed.

I walk down the hall and try to find Xavier's dorm. I approach the door and I open it. I see him sitting on the edge of his bed on his phone. I walk over to him and slap the device out of his hands.
