Enid's POV:

I wake up in the morning. Last night was eventful. After what Wens told me, I'm still confused. Like, what was the point in siren songing me? Why'd she do it?

It also seemed like Wednesday was nervous about something. Like she left something out. Something important...

My mind runs all day throughout school, making the classes go by quickly. I shuffle back to the dorm, my mind still racing. Why am I so focused on this?

Wednesday told me everything that I need to know... right?

Right?!

I turn down the hallway, feeling my phone vibrate in my pocket. I sigh, frustrated, as my fingers touch my phone. I take it out as I look at the notification.

It's from Yoko.

Bestah 4evaa

Y: Hey girl perhaps you'd want to come over to my dorm and hang out?

E: Yea sure. lemme tell wens first

Y: okey doke!

My phone is placed back in my pocket as I enter the dorm. Wednesday is already at her desk. She seems very involved in her writing so I will not interrupt.

I throw my bag on my bed and get a new change of clothes. I'm about to walk into the bathroom when I hear a voice.

"You alright, mi amor?" I turn around. Wens still looks at her typewriter, but her head looks more upward now.

"Yeah, heading over to Yoko's to hang out," I say, turning back towards the bathroom.

"Alright, please be safe." I hear before I take a step, closing the door behind me.

I never thought I'd change so fast as I burst through the door, escaping the dorm and running down to Yoko's.

I don't even think as I turn the handle, walking right into something I didn't want to walk in to. Layla gets off from on top of Yoko, both of their faces are bright red as they clear their throats.

My hand covers my mouth, embarrassed that I walked into this, and funny how they look right now.

I accidentally let out a small chuckle. "Sorry, guys!" I apologize.

Yoko laughs and shakes her head. Layla smiles before running off into the bathroom. She must either be really embarrassed, or something's up with her.

I choose the first option.

I walk over, sitting down on the bed next to Yoko. We don't look at each other nor speak. Why is this so awkward? Do we not have anything to talk about?

"I can't believe your mom did that," Yoko says, interrupting my thoughts.

I start to nod but stop, my head snapping in her direction.

"Excuse me, what?" I exclaim. "What did my mom have to do with this?"

Yoko raises an eyebrow. "Wednesday didn't tell you?" She asks. I shake my head with a hum. "Your mom's the reason everything happened." She says.
