Enid's POV:

Me and Yoko jump to screaming out in the hallway. Wednesday is, obviously, unfazed. Does she not have flashbacks from what happened literally last night?

"Yoko!" The screaming stops and a loud yell is heard.

The door opens up and me and Yoko sit there in shock. Wednesday looks up but then back down at her book. "Layla?" I say like I don't know who it is.

"What's wrong?" Yoko asks, standing up and walking over to her girlfriend.

Layla's breathing is fast and quick. "S-something's wrong." She stutters.

This gains Wednesday's attention. She looks up at the girl and closes her book. "What?" Wens asks.

Layla stumbles over her words. "I-I was in the library... and... and I was with Jason. And I wanted a book so I pointed at the book that I wanted Jason to get... and... it just like... it just flew at me!" Layla re-enacts what happened.

"That's how I got this bruise." She points to the side of her face near her ear.

"Wait..." Yoko starts.

I turn my head towards her and raise an eyebrow. "Telekinesis. Maybe you finally figured out what your power is." Yoko exclaims.

I jump up happily and run over to the girl. "Yay!" Layla jumps up and down with me.

Wens stands up from the bed. "Wait, try it." She says, crossing her arms.

I move away from Layla, giving her a smile for good luck. She smiles back weakly as she turns to Yoko. "You got it," Yoko says, kissing her forehead.

We all step aside as Layla takes a deep breath. Wednesday places her book on the ground far in front of her.

She steps back and stares at Layla. I can tell Layla is getting nervous. Her eyes scan the room. Once they meet mine, I give her a smile and a nod.

Layla faces the book and takes another deep breath. Her hand shakes as she holds it out in front of her. She's focused, her face is tensed and her eyes are narrowed.

The book flies across the room to Layla. But instead of it flying to her hand, it smacks her right in the face.

She yelps out and falls to the ground. We all race over to her except for Wednesday.

"Are you okay?" Yoko exclaims.

Layla groans and removes her hand from her face. "Yeah."

She grunts. Me and Yoko help her up as she stands to her feet. Yoko walks her to the bathroom as I turn to Wednesday.

"You're so selfless." I joke. Wednesday rolls her eyes.

She grabs the book that flew across the room and sighs. "The bookmark flew out." She mutters as she searches the floor for it.

Wens soon finds it and grabs it up off the floor. The door swings open again and it hits the back of Wednesday. She falls to the floor and I gasp.

Jason walks in through the door and Wednesday whips around to glare at him.

"Oh shit! I'm so sorry, Wednesday!" He says as he goes down to the ground to help her up.

Jealousy runs through my veins. He moves away from Wednesday once she's to her feet.

"Where's Layla?" He says once he turned to me.

"Um, in the bathroom with Yoko," I answer.

Yoko comes out of the bathroom. "I heard my name?" She questions.

Jason looks at her. "I need Layla." He says.

Yoko nods before running back to the bathroom. She comes back out with Layla by her side.

"What's up?" Layla asks the boy.

"Something weird is happening." He says.

I turn to Yoko and she turns to me. "He definitely got his power too," Yoko whispers and smiles at me. I chuckle and nod.

"I yelled Layla's name when she ran away. Then someone came up to me and called me Layla. I was confused and told them I was Jason. And then they ran away." He explains.

Yoko looks at me again after hearing his story. Then she shakes Layla's shoulder and turns to him.

"Shapeshift! He can shapeshift!" Yoko exclaims.

Layla smiles and turns to us. Jason looks at us, confused. "You could've turned into Layla when you said her name and when that person approached you, they thought you were Layla. But then you probably turned back to yourself when you said your name." Wednesday steps into the conversation.

Jason slowly nods his head, trying to process what he just heard. "Try to turn into me!" Yoko tells him.

We all laugh as he stands still. He closes his eyes and we wait. I turn to Wednesday, who is very focused on the boy.

"Holy fuck!" I hear laughing as I whip my head around to find two Yokos.

"Oh damn!" I yell out, laughing with them.

Jason turns back to normal and I notice Wednesday leaving out of the corner of my eye. My laughing slows as I turn my head towards the door, watching the girl leave.

I turn to my friends. "Imma go, guys," I mutter.

Yoko turns to me with a sad face. "Why? Oh..." She starts to whine but stops once she doesn't see Wednesday.

I raise my eyebrows and nod with a smile. "Go get your girl." She says with a chuckle.

I laugh too before waving goodbye. I race out of the dorm after Wednesday. She's probably already at the dorm, she's so damn fast.

I reach the dorm and walk through the door.
Wednesday sits on the bed, reading her book. "Why'd you leave?" I ask.

"You guys were starting to annoy me." She mumbles quickly.

I sigh and roll my eyes. She always gets annoyed. I walk in front of her and hold out my hand. She looks at me, then the hand, confused.

"Come on," I say. She sets her book down and slowly takes my hand. "Come here," I say, flirtatious, pulling her off her bed.

We stand a foot apart, looking into each other's eyes. A small smirk crosses Wednesday's face as she presses her body against mine.
