??? POV:

(10 minutes prior to Wednesday catching Enid and Yoko)

It's midnight. There are a couple of kids roaming the school, but not many. I sneak past them, and up to the girl's dorm rooms.

I'm doing this for my daughter. I walk up the steps and soon stand in front of the door.

I ready my voice...

Layla's POV:

I storm down the hall. How could Yoko do that and not tell me?! I am full of anger. I hate her so much for what she did.

Wednesday did tell me they were drunk, but that does not mean anything! I stomp out of the school and walk to the Nevermore gates.

I walk to Jericho, searching around for the hospital. It soon catches my eye as I turn towards it. I enter through the double doors and go right to the lady behind the desk.

"Is Yoko Tanaka here?" I ask the lady.

I wait impatiently for an answer as she points down a hallway. "Down there, third door to the left." She says.

I force a smile and nod a thank you before racing down the hallway. I barge through the door and Yoko jumps back, startled.

"What the fuck?" I scream at her.

She slowly closes the magazine. "What?" She asks.

I scoff and shake my head. Of course, the play dumb.

"Why did you kiss Enid?" I yell. Yoko's face turns.

There's no lying to me now. She better tell the truth before I kill her without actually killing her.

"W-what?" She stammers. Playing dumb, ay?

I use my telekinetic abilities to grab the collar of her shirt and yank her upwards. I also hold her head to look at me the entire time.

"Why'd you kiss Enid?" I ask more sternly this time.

She better be willing to give me answers, I'm not too above choking her.

"I-I was drunk! I didn't mean to. You know I would never do that to you, Layla!" Yoko spits as her hand reaches for my cheek.

I smack her hand away, my telekinesis stopping as she slams back down onto the bed. I feel tears beginning to form in my eyes. My eyes close and one rolls down my cheek.

I take a deep breath and look at her. I can see the tears in her own eyes as they fall more than mine.

Be strong, Layla. Wednesday went through the same thing.

"We need to take a break," I mutter. Yoko's eyes widen in disbelief.

"I-"

"I'm sorry." I cut her off before running out of the room.

The tears finally fall as I leave the hospital.

Wednesday's POV:

Well, Layla left. I'm all alone now. Just how I like it. Suddenly, I got very bored just minutes after she left. I look around the room. It's so boring here, there's nothing to do.

I'm going to follow her.

I want to know what will happen between Yoko and her. I grab my jacket and race out the door. Hopefully, she didn't get too far. As I run out of the school, I catch sight of her.

I slow my pace as I keep her in my line of sight. I feel like this walk is forever until we finally reach Jericho. I hide around the corner of buildings as she walks to the hospital.

Layla walks into the building as I sneak around the side. I peer into the windows as I try to find Yoko's room. I do, thankfully, as I wait under the window.

I don't know how long will this take. I slowly turn around and move upwards to look into the room. Layla is there and she and Yoko are talking.

I stalk them. I can barely hear them, it's all muffled. I watch as Yoko gets pulled from the bed.

Oh shit. I can't intervene. I stay and watch, excited for what's going to happen next. Yoko falls back on the bed as Layla steps away. I try to listen as best as I can.

"We need a break." I make out.

Oh shit. It's me and Enid all over again.

Layla then runs out of the room. I quickly ran to the nearest object and hid behind it. I peer out as Layla runs out of the hospital.

Shit, she's going to go back to the dorm and not find me there. I think I should get back. I stand from my hiding place and take a step before stopping. Wait.

I want to go check something first. I continue to walk but towards the woods this time. I wonder if Enid's mom is still there.

Maybe something will be there that I missed. I walk through the woods and soon approach the body. The naked older woman is slowly decaying. Very slowly.

I look around the area and see a pile of clothes. I run over to it and examine them. They are way too big to be Enid's. I look through them, trying to find anything.

No luck.

I groan and slam the clothes back on the ground as I hear something drop. I look over and find a phone. Her phone.

Quickly, I grab it, hoping it's not dead. I press the power button. Thank god it's not dead. As I look on the lock screen, something catches my eye.

A notification.

From someone named... Gabrielle?

It is done
