Wednesday's POV:

I get back from taking Thing lotion shopping.
He's so annoying.

Enid walks into the room as I'm reading. She hung out with Yoko this afternoon. That gave me time to set up the prank.

I hear Enid scream as I turn around in my chair, trying to hide my smile. She grabs me tightly, I might suffocate.

"Okay, Enid. Let me go, I'm dying." I struggle to say, trying to breathe.

"Sorry." She murmurs as she pulls away.

"Why did you scream?" I ask once I caught my breath. I still try to suppress the smile that keeps trying to claw its way out.

"T-there's a... a... SPIDER!" She squeaks, pointing toward her bed, her hand shaking.

I scoff and smile as I walk over to her bed. I see the tarantula and grab it by one of its legs. I dangle it out in front of me as I turn around. "Aw, this little thing?" I ask, innocently.

"Get it away!" She yells.

I laugh as I toss it at her, landing on the floor by her feet. She screams again and runs out of the room. I can't help but burst out laughing in the middle of the room.

Damn, she's funny.

I catch the spider before it disappears from my sight again. That's enough fun. I throw it onto the balcony and shut the window.

I hear the door open as I turn around to find Enid there. "Is it gone?" She asks, quietly.

I nod and smile.  "It's out on the balcony," I say, moving aside as she walks toward the window.

She watches the spider crawl around, cluelessly, on the ground. I tiptoe behind her and sneak up on her. "Boo!" I yell, poking her shoulders.

She screams again and jumps. I laugh.

"Wednesday! Stop!" She huffs as she watches me laugh.

"I-I-I'm sorry. It's just so... damn funny!" I can't speak. Laughter steals the air from me. Enid grunts as she walks past me.

I grab her arm and hold in my laughter. "Wait, Enid. I'm sorry." I say once she turns to look at me. But it leaves my system before I start laughing again.

I place a hand on my stomach, trying to calm myself before I die. All of a sudden, I feel a hand smack across my face. What the fuck?

I hold my cheek as I look at Enid. I glare at her.

"Don't you fucking dare. You did it to me, only fair that I did it back." She says, angrily.

I brush it away and grab her arms. "Fine, but I really am sorry though," I say, looking into her eyes. I only half mean it. I don't want her to be mad at me.

"Fine." She says, before walking over to her bed. "I'm getting tired, I'm going to bed." Enid crawls under the covers and gets comfy.

We have classes tomorrow, and it is getting late. I turn the light off before lying next to Enid, pressing her warm body against mine.
