Wednesday's POV:

It's Monday, a new week of school. I missed most of last week due to Enid being in a damn coma. I slowly pull my shirt over my body as I walk out of the bathroom. I grab my bag and rub my eyes. I barely got any sleep the past week.

I yawn as I leave the dorm, walking to my first class. I haven't been in class for a while, and I won't be sitting next to Enid for a while too.

I take a seat as I pull out my folder and notebook.

"Miss Addams." I hear and I look up from my table. The teacher stands before me. "Where have you been all last week?" She questions.

How do I answer that? "I... uh..." I start to say. I have no idea how to finish that sentence.

The teacher waits there, impatiently, as I try to find my words. I eventually give up, not being able to find them.

"Nevermind. I have to inform you that you have been missing a lot of classes and we can no longer excuse you from your work. It is too much. You will now be earning 0's for any missing assignments." The teacher says before she turns, but she stops.

"Tell Miss Sinclair that, too." She says before walking away. Once she's gone, I scoff and roll my eyes.

Whatever.

I open my folder and notebook, looking at what I have. My head rests on my hand, my eyes keep closing on me. I swear I'm going to fall asleep before class even starts.

My head jerks upwards as a small stack of paper is slammed on the table. "These are the missing assignments." The teacher says in front of me.

My eyes widen in disbelief as I stare at the stack. There is no way I missed all those assignments. If so, why are there so many?

"It's yours and Miss Sinclair's combined." She says before turning to walk away again. My face relaxes.

I look over to the empty seat next to me. Class is going to be so hard without her. I look forward. At least Jason and Layla are still here. I reach my hand out to tap the boy's shoulder but quickly hesitate.

I take a deep breath before touching him and quickly sitting back down. Jason turns back around to me. "What's up?" He asks.

I stare at him for a few seconds. It's better if I get this done and over with. "Could you... sit next to me?" I quickly blurt out.

I notice a small smirk form on his face. "Yeah." He chuckles before grabbing his stuff to sit down with me.

I instantly feel better once I know there is some sort of presence next to me. The teacher walks to the front of the class and quiets everyone. Once everyone stops talking, she opens her mouth to speak.

"As you know, tomorrow starts our last semester of the school year!" She exclaims.

The class starts cheering. I wait, the noise making my ears bleed.

"So, what I did is I printed your final grades on a piece of paper for you guys to see. I'll hand them out now." The teacher talks over everyone.

I watch as she grabs some papers and starts handing them out to students. The class continues to chatter. A piece of paper is slid in front of me.

I look up to find Jason looking at me, handing me the paper. I maintain eye contact as I slowly take it and flip it over. I read my grades and...

What the fuck?

I'm failing all of my classes. Holy shit.

I groan as I crumble the paper into a ball and throw it across the room, hitting the teacher in the back. She turns around in shock.

"What the... who threw this?" She says as she bends down to pick the paper up, but I'm already out of the class.

"Miss Addams!" I hear from behind me, but I continue to walk.

Once I'm in my dorm, I walk over to my desk and grab my phone.

Yoko T

W: Would you possibly have spare keys for the principal's car? It's an emergency.

Y: You want to go visit Enid, right?

W: Yes.

Y: Don't worry, on my way. Meet at my dorm.

So she wants to go visit Enid, too. That's fine.

I throw my bag on my bed before racing down to Yoko's dorm. I stand outside the door, due to it being locked. I catch Yoko running down the hallway to me.

"Hey. Let's go." She says, out of breath, once she reaches me.

I follow her as we walk out to the car. We get in as Yoko drives down to Jericho. I can't stand school, it's making me overwhelmed. Especially what has happened with Enid and all.

I think I might drop out or something.

The hospital comes into distance as we park in front of it. I get out of the car, running over to the doors, leaving Yoko behind.

I arrive in front of Enid's room, the door is shut and I think I hear other people on the other side. I put my ear to the door. They sound like nurses.

I listen to their conversation. "What's the condition?" One says.

"It's getting worse." Another says.

What's getting worse? What's happening?

"What was the urgent message about her?" The first one says again.

I hear silence. Are they hesitating? What's going on? I want to so badly barge into the room and demand answers. But I hear the other person speak again.

"There's a chance she can never wake up... and it's dangerously high."

My heart drops.
