Wednesday's POV:

I packed up some of my stuff. It's winter break and we can go home with our parents. Mother and father will pick me up soon to take me home.

Secretly, I'm excited to see Pugsley. I miss torturing him.

Enid hasn't bothered me at all today, even in school. I think I finally scared her off of me. Which is good.

I already told Tyler I will be leaving, so the plan is held off until I get back. At least that's what he said.

I look over at my roommate, who sits on her bed, head hung. "What's wrong with you?" I ask, catching her attention.

She looks up at me for a second before looking back down at her feet. "I'm stuck here. My parents won't take me back." Enid huffs.

I purse my lips and sigh. Poor Enid. She'll be here all alone. I think about it for a second. Should I invite her to stay with me? Just to be nice.

I mean, I don't really like her mom. She told me about what happened last time at Parents Weekend. I despised it.

Suddenly, the door opens and my parents walk in. "Oh, my little storm cloud!" My father says as he walks over with his arms out and hugs me.

I eye him and stand there uncomfortably until he moves. Once he does, my mother comes over to me.

"Hello, dear. Are you ready to get going?" She glances over to my packed-up stuff.

"Yes, but I have a question, mother," I murmur. She raises an eyebrow, allowing me to continue. "May Enid stay with us for break? She's going to be here all alone and I feel bad." I mumble the last part so Enid doesn't hear. I noticed she perked up once I said her name.

"Um, sure, honey" She smiles at me. I nod before turning to Enid, who has a big smile on her face.

She kicks her legs and watches me. "Well, you heard her," I say gently. I don't want to sound too rough.

Enid jumps up off the bed and starts packing up her stuff. It doesn't take her long to pack. She has two suitcases of stuff ready and we start moving them to the car.

I take my bag as Lurch takes the rest. We walk out to the car, our belongings being placed into the trunk. He opens the door as me and Enid get in, my parents sitting across from us.

I glare at them, signaling not to say anything. The car pulls away from the building and I sigh.

Finally, some time away from there. The car had been driving for around 10 minutes until the silence was finally broken.

"So, what's your house like?" Enid asks. I turn my head to her.

"You'll see," I say, trying to hide the small smile on my face.

I turn back forward, looking at my parents. They're too busy talking and making out. I scrunch my face in disgust. I hate when they do this in front of me.

Enid pays no attention whatsoever. She's listening to music, looking out the car window. I sigh, kind of bored.

I feel a weight on my lap. I snap my head downwards to find Enid's head on my leg. She fell asleep.
