Wednesday's POV:

I lay on my bed, hands on the back of my head, and I sigh while looking up at the ceiling. I'm excited for tonight. I have a whole plan.

A whole date plan, actually.

I finally sit up, taking in the breathtaking view of Enid. She lies so comfortably in her bed, snuggling with her stuffed animals.

It's early Friday morning. We still have to go to class. It's not even 7 yet. I swing my feet off the bed and stand, but then stumble. I hold onto the bedpost before steadying myself, what the hell?

I then breathe in, but my nose is stuffed. I was just fine a second ago. I take careful steps toward the bathroom, feeling like my weight shifts with every step I take.

I almost trip as I reach the sink. I feel weak. Am I okay? I open part of the mirror, hoping to find some sort of medication to take.

I find a bottle and pull out a pill to swallow it along with some water from the sink. I take a deep breath and get undressed to shower.

Hopefully, I feel better, I have a date.

Enid's POV:

I wake up to the water running. Wednesday's up, she must be showering. I grab my phone, looking at the time. It's a bit past 7.

I get up out of bed to grab some clothes to throw on. By the time I'm done getting changed, Wednesday walks out.

"Good morning, mi amor." She says, looking at me before turning away to get her stuff together.

Her voice sounded a bit rough. Is she okay? I walk over to her as she goes through the bag on her bed. I put my chin on her shoulder.

"Are you feeling okay?" I ask.

I feel her head nod. "I'm fine." She answers before moving away.

I don't think she's fine. Her breaths are deep and heavy, and she seems to be walking limply. But she still stands tall.

Maybe the limp is bothering her? I haven't seen it in a while. "Is it your side?" I ask, not wanting to anger the girl.

"No, I said I'm fine, Enid." She says sternly.

Wednesday turns around and walks out of the dorm. I follow her out, staying next to her side. She walks a bit slower than usual.

We finally arrive at the classroom and take our seats. As we sit, I turn to the girl. Her face seems paler than usual. As I'm about to say something, someone cuts me off.

"Hey, Enid!" I turn to the voice to find Layla turned around. "Could we possibly sit with you at lunch again?" She asks.

I put on a smile and nod. "Yeah, you can sit with us anytime!" I exclaim.

Layla breaks into a smile before turning back around to talk to Jason. I look over at Wednesday who now has her head on the table in her arms. Is she sleeping?

"Wednesday?" I whisper. She doesn't budge.

I decided to let her sleep and take notes for this class for her. That means I have to pay attention. This will be hard.
