Enid's POV:
As my eyes meet yours, my mind starts to twirl. How I could so easily get lost in those dark eyes of yours. I never thought I'd see them again.
Where am I? How long have I been here? What happened? I have so many questions.
But first, I listen as I hear you softly whisper my name. You take careful steps toward the side of the bed. My hand is taken into yours. The warmth of your skin that I never thought you'd have, burns into my own.
I never thought I'd be so cold. I shiver, the cool air brushing my skin. You slowly blink as your face comes closer to mine.
"You're awake..." She says softly, her eyes flickering back and forth.
I smile and nod. A small smirk grows on her as she moves my face to hers so our lips touch.
Wednesday's POV:
I kiss the girl.
I swear I haven't touched those lips in ages. Her lips turn warm, I never thought they'd be so cold. It is, in fact, chilly in her room.
Enid's awake.
How long has it been again? More than a week definitely.
Her lips parted from mine as we looked into each other's eyes. I never thought I'd see those beautiful eyes again.
"Are you okay?" I quietly ask.
Enid nods her head and smiles even bigger. "Now that you're here." She says.
The smirk on my face grows more as I pull her back in to kiss. It's long and passionate... Until we get interrupted. Someone clears their throat as we turn to see who it is.
It's Yoko and Layla.
I sigh and roll my eyes, leaning away from Enid as the girls chuckle and walk in. I step away, allowing them to go to Enid.
I smile a little at them reuniting. It's kind of... sweet? I don't know.
I move over and press the red button on the wall, calling for one of the nurses to come. A few minutes later, they eventually do.
Yoko and Layla leave and sit on the chairs as I move onto the bed to sit next to Enid. I swing my legs onto the mattress and make myself comfortable as Enid talks with the nurses.
Once they're done and they leave, that's when Enid starts to blurt out questions.
Why am I here? What did I do? How long was I here for? Blah, blah, blah.
We decided we'd answer one question at a time.
"What happened?" Enid asks her first question.
"You were in a coma," I say, gently rubbing the back of her hand with my thumb.
"How long?" She mutters as she looks down at her lap.
I think. Honestly, I have no idea how long it has been.
"A couple of weeks, I'd say," I answer.
Her head shoots up and she looks from me to Yoko and Layla. "W-w-what did I do to end up here?" She stammers.
My head turns to Yoko and her facial expression softens as she nods. I turn back to Enid, whose eyes are staring into mine, looking for answers.
"You like... fell off the balcony and cracked your head open. Your brain was bleeding and all. Do you remember any of that?" I ask her, not sure about what she remembers and what she doesn't.
Enid slowly nods. "I remember everything up to the falling part. I know I didn't jump, that's for sure." She says.
All three of us nod as the doctor walks back in. I get up off of her bed to shuffle over to Yoko and Layla and stand by them.
"We're gonna help you walk, okay?" The doctor says to Enid.
She nods and a few seconds later, he is helping her to her feet. I automatically race over to her other side to keep her balance right. She stumbles once she makes contact with the floor, but we hold her up.
"You got it," I say quietly to the wolf.
I notice a red tint covering her cheeks as I smirk. Oh...?
We walk Enid to the other side of the room and back, each time giving her less and less help. We finally pull away as she walks on her own to the other side and back.
Once she reaches me and the doctor, they all clap and congratulate her. Stupid.
Instead, I give her a small smile and a nod. The corners of her lips tug even harder as she looks at me.
The doctor runs over a few things with Enid before he leaves. It's silent in the room as I finally lift my head up.
"Let's get back to Nevermore, shall we?" Yoko calls out and everyone cheers.

I help Enid into the dorm and she immediately jumps onto her bed with her stuffed animals. It's good to see her here with me and happy. I have no words to describe how I am feeling right now.
I'm so...
Grateful and happy that she's awake. I have my Enid back.
I sit next to her on her bed. She squirms around before finding a comfortable position to look at me from.
"What?" I say after a few moments of her staring.
Her eyes sink deeply into mine. God...
"I miss everything." She whispers.
Everything?
I'm about to ask a question, but I'm hesitant. She moves around on her bed once again before holding her arms out wide, beckoning me to cuddle with her.
I roll my eyes and sigh happily as her arms wrap around my body. I missed this so much. I never knew how much I did.
My head tilts upwards from her chest to look at her. "I'm so happy you're here," I say softly.
She smiles before touching her fingers to my chin. "I'm happy I have you," Enid says before rolling over and pulling me on top of her.
Tonight is going to be such an amazing night.
