Enid's POV:
"Girl! Wake up!" Yoko snaps her fingers in front of me.
I shake my head quickly and turn my head towards her. "What? Sorry." I mutter.
"Stop eyeing your girl and talk to us!" Bianca whines.
I've been staring at Wednesday all lunch. She abandoned me to sit with Eugene. How rude.
"Exactly, she's allowed to sit with Bee Boy." Yoko agrees.
"Sorry guys. Just a bit..." I trail off, not finding the right word.
"Jealous?" Bianca suggests.
"What? No!" I quickly say. How stupid of them to assume.
I'm not jealous, she's gay and Eugene's a guy. Like, they're the stupid ones here.
Yoko chuckles. "How's school going for you?" She asks, chewing her food.
I shake my head slightly and shrug my shoulders. "Horrible. Imma fail all my classes." I say.
Yoko hums and looks back down at her food. "Maybe ask Wens to help," Bianca says.
"Maybe, I don't wanna bother her, though," I say, picking at my food.
"I don't know, just-" Bianca stops talking. I look up from my plate to find Divina whispering into her ear.
What is this about? Divina then stands up straight and Bianca turns to us.
"Sorry guys, I'll be right back." She says before getting up and walking away with Divina.
"Is it me orrrrr are they spending a lot of time together?" Yoko questions.
I nod. "Especially since she's your girlfriend," I say.
I know Bianca is friends with Divina and all but she hasn't been spending a lot of time with Yoko until Xavier got killed. Maybe she's just comforting her?
Wednesday's POV:
Out of the corner of my eye, I notice Bianca and Divina walking. They have been spending a lot of time together for the past two days. Mainly Divina coming to Bianca.
It's odd.
I sat with Eugene today. I don't know why, I just haven't talked to him in a while so here I am.
"You should stop by the hut after school. We can play around with the bees." He giggles, breaking my gaze from the two girls.
"Yeah, about that... I'd love to but I need to practice fencing after school. Maybe later on." I respond.
I don't mean to hurt Eugene, but the tournament is coming up and I need to make sure we win.
"Ah, okay." Eugene's smile fades away.
"I'm sorry," I say quietly. I leave my plate there and stand up from the table. I walk away into the building away from everyone.
I'm suspicious of Bianca and Divina, especially Divina. They have been together too long and I think they're up to something.
It's a few minutes until lunch ends anyway.
I think I'll hide in the bathroom. One of the worst places to go ever. In public, I mean. Luckily, the bathroom is empty.I take a breath of relief as I shuffle over to the sink. I cup my hand under the cold water to drink it. My throat is dry, I can't have it like that.
I turn the water off and wipe my hands on my pants before leaning over the sink. I look into the mirror at myself and think.
Bianca and Divina.
I need to figure out what they're up to. I feel like they're up to no good. And trust me, I know it when I see it.
The bathroom door opens and I turn my head to see who the person is. It's Enid.
She walks over to me and sighs. Enid looks into my eyes through the mirror. "What's wrong? I saw you storm off." She says softly, soon after.
"I'm suspicious of Bianca and Divina," I say.
"So is me and Yoko. They have been spending too much time together." Enid says as she looks around.
I smile to myself, finally another person who is on the same page as me. The bell rings and I look away from the mirror.
"Let's go to class," I say, passing Enid and walking out of the bathroom.
"Okay!" She skips behind me.

I avoid fencers as I walk through the room. I stopped by the mat where Bianca was supposed to be meeting me for practice today. But she isn't here, usually she's never late.
I look at my watch as it hits 3. Where is she?
My eyes wander around the room, looking past the white-clothed fencers. I try to look for Bianca until I see two figures walk by the entrance at the door. It looked like Bianca.
Dropping my mask and saber, I speed-walk to the door, interrupting whatever fencing battles are going on. I turn down the hallway I saw them walk as I just spot a door almost closing. I open the door and slow my pace as I follow behind the girls.
I try to listen in but they're too muffled. Come on stupid sound waves, throw the words at me. They turn into the girl's locker room before I follow them in.
Bianca laughs out loud at whatever Divina just said. I wish I could hear them. Their voices are so low. As if they knew...
I was following them.
I turned quickly out of the locker room before walking back to my original spot.
What the hell are you up to, Bianca?
