Enid's POV:

The rain splash at our feet as we walk. Wednesday holds the umbrella tightly as I watch the house come closer and closer. Rain is okay... if you're inside. It's just... wet and yucky. I only love the rainbow part about it.

Wednesday over here, though... she's the complete opposite. Of course. But I love this dark, gloomy girl, and I'll do anything for her.

We approach the door and I quickly snatch the umbrella from Wednesday's hand and close it. The girl looks at me but then shrugs it off, knocking on the door.

I smile to myself. I don't know why I did that. But I did. And it was fun.

The door creaks open and a head pokes out. "Oh! Hello! Enid and..." Yoko's mom takes a long look at Wens. "Wednesday, right?" She tilts her head.

My girlfriend nods and she beams. "Great! Yoko's upstairs in her room. You can come in." She says, stepping aside to allow us to walk in.

We do and I immediately lead Wednesday up the stairs to Yoko's room. I turn the corner and knock on the door. We wait a moment before it swings open.

"Enid!" Yoko exclaims, pulling me into a big hug.

"Hi!" I say, hugging her back.

She pulls away and nods towards Wens. "Wednesday," Yoko says.

The girl nods back as I shove Yoko into her room, pulling Wens in behind me. I flop on the bed, spreading my arms out on the soft blankets.

I sigh before sitting up and looking at Yoko who sits at her desk, typing on her computer. "Thanks for coming over to accompany me," Yoko says, not looking up from the keyboard.

Click clack, click clack.

I groan. "Girl, come over and talk to us, and stop doing what you're doing," I whine.

Yoko sighs, turning around to look at me. "Girl, I'm doing homework. I'm sorry that I'm the smart one out of both of us who wants to get an amazing job." She mocks.

I moan, throwing my arm on my head and falling backward onto the bed. "Oh, I'm so offended right now!" I say with sarcasm.

"Girl, get your ass over here so we can talk to you." I hear. I quickly jerk up and look towards Wednesday, who glares at Yoko.

Me and Yoko have the same exact expression on our faces. "Wedn-" Yoko starts to say.

"Don't even, get over here," Wens says.

Yoko quickly gets up and sits next to me, placing her hands on her lap and not looking at my girlfriend at all. I cover my mouth to keep myself from laughing.

Never knew how much of an effect Wednesday could have on Yoko. It's surprising really. I dunno why. It just is.

"We have something to tell you," I say softly.

Yoko's head turns towards me, confused. "What's it about?" She asks.

"Layla," Wens says before I can answer.

I swallow, turning back to Yoko who looks at the ground. "Oh." She mutters.

I place my hand on her own, patting it gently. For the next couple of minutes, I explained to Yoko what I saw in my coma. The reaction I thought Yoko would have was not what I thought it was going to be.

Instead of her going ballistic on me for making stupid accusations, she... agrees?

"Yeah, I have a feeling, too. The other night when we were on video call, someone came into the room and she immediately muted and turned her camera off. She never did that before. Then she claims it was her mom, but I don't believe her." Yoko mumbles.

I feel the blankets curl into my hand as my fists clench. Yoko doesn't deserve this shit. She's the most sweetest girl anyone could ever meet. Fuck Layla. I hate her so much already.

Now that I actually know about it. And the fact that I'm... Right... Sucks.

"At least I'm not the only one thinking this." Yoko breaks me from my thoughts, forcing a weak smile to us.

She starts to walk back over to her desk, but I grab her sleeve.

"Homework, later. Let's have a girl's night."

Wednesday's POV:

Tonight was... fun, I think. It's nice to have Enid back and see her happy with her best friend. Even though Yoko is going through some tough times right now.

I want to help, but I don't know how. For some reason, this time, I know killing is not the answer. Damn, why'd I pick such a queen that doesn't allow murder?

That's okay, I love her either way. I'll do anything for her.

We walk into my room, Enid carrying the cat and sitting on my bed. I roll my eyes. I hate animals in my room. But Enid is an exception now, I guess.

I close the door, sitting next to Enid. She pets the cat but it jumps out of her arms. It lands on my lap before jumping away onto the ground. I watch as it runs around on the floor.

I notice Enid digging her head into her hands. I nudge her a little. "Are you okay?" I ask her.

Enid shakes her head and I use my hand to lift her face upwards. Her eyes lock into mine as I stare into hers. They're such a beaut. They remind me of the sky when it isn't gray and cloudy. It reminds me of the rainbows that I loathe. But it all makes me love her.

"What's wrong?" I ask her.

Her hand falls onto my leg and I tense up. I miss her touch so much. "I feel like I did the wrong thing." She mutters.

I shake my head. "No, you did the right thing," I say, moving my body so I'm comfortable.

My lips tug into a smirk as I move to sit on her lap.

"Now make me do the wrong thing, mon amour."
