Kai rolled his shoulders, as his dream had taken a rather... bizarre turn. Kai couldn't see this, but he was blushing in his sleep and smiling with joy as he had relived the moment with one of his old friends. His dreams tended to be disturbing, filled with memories of his parents and tribe, this is why he never slept in his solid form, but today it was welcome. Kai was quite insistent on avoiding his solid form when resting, because of this exact experience. When in a liquid state, there were no dreams, only regeneration. It was... embarrassing. Kai's tail wriggled in excitement as the dream continued... he didn't want it to end. But despite his wishes, the sudden expelling of a familiar blueish-purple fluid. One that was usually associated with merging, caused his dream to cease immediately. Kai sat up and followed the trail of purple goop all the way to his tail, he was disgusted with himself. "What the—!?" Kai shot up from his couch and grabbed his flaccid tail, but at the squeezing of it, he winced in slight discomfort at the sensitivity of the appendage. It was the culprit of his sudden extrusion.
His happy blush turned embarrassed as he looked at the mess that was left behind. "Not again!" Kai shouted... he couldn't let Bodi see this. It was rather embarrassing for a member of his species to have a hallucination that resulted in... phantom merging. This was something that younger Omeocoon would experience, it was just a normal part of becoming an adult, these outbursts were to stop once the individual has completed the passage of ascension. But of course, in spirit, Kai was already a grown-up. But biologically he was still a teenager and thus would continue to experience this until he was old enough, but even then when Bodi would reach the point where he would begin to experiment with merging, Kai would have to guide him through it. But while Bodi would have a guide, Kai would have to navigate this sea alone. "Kai! Kai! I wanna show you something!" Bodi shouted, his sudden intrusion spooked Kai so much that the Gel-Bunny nearly dissipated his form. Bodi was banging on the door as if someone were trying to stab him. His instinct was to immediately try and pull the door open but Kai quickly ripped the hatch closed and used his body weight to keep it closed. "No! Don't come in! I'll take your watch!" Kai held the door, and Bodi continued to bang on it with fierceness. "Just go away, Bode!" Kai snapped, and the banging stopped immediately. Kai winced at his own harshness, he knew his brother didn't like to be yelled at. But sometimes Bodi didn't quite know when he was being annoying.
