Kai drifted off to 'sleep' once again, while Bodi was still wide awake, he was laying on the daybed with him, using his brother's upper body as a pillow of sorts, Bodi laid right on top of him, as Kai hugged him like a stuffed animal, but Bodi kept his PDA propped up against his chest as he typed in peace. He felt a jolt of turbulence from the nose of the ship, that was normal with solar sailing, the engines usually cycled off and on when they were out of the range of a sun, and the computer would switch from light to fuel and vice versa in order to ensure the vessel continued without complications. Kai was still cozy on his day bed, so the ship shouldn't have been in that much trouble if it wasn't enough to wake him from his slumber. Another jolt from the front of the ship, prompted Bodi as 'Officer of The Deck' to get up and move to the front of the cockpit huffing in annoyance and rolling his eyes as he applied the buttons and switches that would open the shutters covering the bow of the vessel.

His horror was immediate as he viewed the disturbance. It was class six, maybe even seven(just for reference that was on a scale in which the highest possible danger for an anomaly was ten.) Bodi stared at the kaleidoscopic swirl of red, blue, and orange, and in the center, an unfriendly shade of black, all twisted together in a tornado of angry vortex of powerful fury, with sprinkles of lightning, powerful waves of turbulence. Even as the ship was a few hundred miles off, Bodi was still aware of the situation, he scurried to get 'dressed' again. "Kai!" Bodi shouted from across the cockpit as he slipped his footwear on, attempting to bring Kai back to the land of consciousness, "Kai! Wake up!" Bodi said slipping his bag back over his shoulders next as he ran back and forth from the cabin and the cockpit to secure various loose items.

When he returned from his venture, he noticed that Kai was still asleep, drastic action was required, Bodi skipped back across the cockpit and backhanded his brother across the face which made him snap his eyes open immediately, "Bodi? What the heck!" Kai shouted, he stood up and glared at Bodi as if the universe was folding in on itself— which was quite humorous considering the fact that it was. The reaction was worth it, Kai was the better pilot, the computer wouldn't be able to handle a task like this. Bodi needed his brother, and while Kai was annoyed, perhaps even willing to retaliate, Kai had the same reaction as Bodi in the cockpit when he looked out the window and observed the anomaly, wide eyes, running everywhere trying to prepare for the inevitable. They were entering the disturbance, one way or the other. They were already well beyond the safety of the event horizon.

The emergency sirens were blaring with the addition of red lighting. It really set the scene for entering a dangerous situation and allowed the crew to maintain their night vision. This disturbance seemed to have much more pull than a standard black hole. "I think I see what has our probe. Do you think that we've entered quadrant four now?" Bodi asked sarcastically shouting over the alarm. Sarcasm was still here, even in a situation as terrible as this. "Yes, I suppose this would meet the description of a plasma storm. But this is not what I was expecting. It's bigger than any we've ever seen. We can't go around it, so I suggest you stop running your mouth and strap in."
