"That's impossible! We're already on the way, we can't turn around now!" Kai commanded after Bodi had tried to flex his muscles in the way of authority, Kai always said no. This is exactly why Bodi hated being the younger brother— if he were alone he could do whatever he wanted. "Pad wants to go home!" Bodi shouted, he never should've taken Pad away from its environment, that was the first rule of being an exobiologist. Look, don't touch. In his excitement, he had done something stupid. That was an often occurrence. Kai squinted in confusion, looking at his brother as if he had gone off the deep end. "Are you insane? I don't care what 'Pad' wants. It's not paying for fuel, is it? If you knew that it wasn't going to be happy here— then you shouldn't have taken it. I'm not sure what to tell you— little brother." Kai added sternly, crossing his arms.

"But—!" Bodi was starting up again but Kai pointed angrily at him. "Stop." Kai growled with gritted teeth. Bodi looked shocked at first, but then his nose wrinkled as he was beginning to be boiling over, but he inhaled a deep breath and exhaled calmly. "Fine," He started with a wide smile that made Kai uncomfortable, "You're the big brother— I'm sorry I argued with you and tried to have my own free will. You'll just make my mind up for me because you're a few years older I guess? I suppose you'll want to tell me to shine my boots? Or scrub the floor?" Bodi began sarcastically, then Kai was beginning to realize the mistake he just made, "Bode... I didn't—" Kai began, but Bodi shook his head. "Oh no!" Bodi interrupted. "If you want me to stay! I'll stay!" Bodi pushed past Kai angrily on his way to the cockpit. "You get your beauty sleep," Bodi shouted firmly, his voice echoing down the hall as he walked off. "Bodi wait! I'm sorry! It's not possible to go back, you know that!" Kai followed quickly. "I'm just trying to keep you safe."

"By keeping me here against my will?" Bodi stopped just outside of the door to the cockpit and Kai placed a hand on his brother's shoulder. "I love you, and you're not a prisoner, but sometimes you're just... naïve." Kai continued, but instead of maturely accepting the truth, Bodi growled, and shook Kai's grip off, he then climbed through the hatchway that allowed entry into the cockpit.
