"The scariest monsters are the ones that lurk within our souls..." ― Edgar Allan Poe

A day before present time.

Early in the morning, Kinn departed to Korea for a business trip. The acquisition of a construction company that he's been working on is on the horizon. He was reluctant to leave, given Porsche recent behavior, but the importance of the work demanded his presence. He wanted to leave Big behind and watch after Porsche, but he knew if he leave without Big, Porsche was going to misunderstand him and he didn't want that.

When the couple left Thailand a year ago, Porsche's grandfather returned to France; he stayed with them for a few weeks after they returned and then left. He wants to respect the couple's privacy and not intrude on their space. On a day like this, he couldn't help but wish Porsche's grandfather was still with them. Even though he's only gone for one day, he still feels uneasy.

Porsche checked his gun, making sure it was loaded and ready. He knew not to underestimate his uncle and wasn't willing to risk his life in the process.

"It's time to send one up there. Your sister won't be lonely anymore," Porsche said while fixing his hair in the bathroom.

He looked at his phone and noticed that Kinn had sent a message saying that he had arrived. He knew he was overreacting and being a bit paranoid about Kinn; his effort is not lost on him. Though he's eager to repair their bond, his emotions are a confusing jumble, clouding his thoughts. Porsche planned to take Kinn on a date when he came back from Korea. He thought it would be nice to spend some time at their vacation house, relax, and talk.

"Bang... bang...one more to go, and it's done," Porsche said with a smile, looking in the mirror.

It was about an hour-long drive. The place started as a bar, but then turned into a club where a lot of things went on behind the scenes. Along with that, the place is equipped with fighting pits. Thanks to his connections, he was able to secure this location for their meeting; it's empty and free for them to use without any interruptions. His uncle arrogantly agrees, and Porsche admires his bravery.

As he pulled up in the parking lot, he saw Arthee smoking a cigarette outside.

"Want one?" Arthee asked, as he reached out the pack of cigarettes to Porsche.

Porsche took out his own cigarettes and lit one up. Arthee couldn't help but laugh.

"Rich people," Arthee scoffed. He saw how Porsche's eyes gave away his nervousness as he scanned the surroundings. "I'm here for peace. No need to be tense.....That's a nice car," his eyes glued to the Ferrari that Porsche was leaning against.

Porsche keeps puffing on his cigarette without any reaction.

"Little boy, we have a lot to talk about and settle. Don't even try to pull any stunts. You know I'm not the sweetest," Arthee warned. Slowly walking towards Porsche, he gives him a menacing glare that makes Porsche feel scared for a moment. "I don't have all day, and I'm not waiting for your wet pants to dry. Let's get down to business,"

Porsche flicked the cigarette away and crushed it under his shoe.

"What do you want?" Porsche inquired, attempting to mask his uneasiness. He thought to himself that he should have had a drink or two before coming here. Being alone with his uncle is never a safe option given their history.
