Ludwig was sitting down, looking up at the cracked moon while smoking a stamina blunt. His partner would likely discourage this behavior, but that didn't matter now. She wasn't here. Napoleon was away, assisting Roman Torchwick within the depths of Mt. Glenn. Currently, the hunter's only company was his blade.

-Flashback-

After the SDC shipment raid, Cinder had informed them that there would still be two months of needed dust plundering. Immediately, Roman set himself back to work planning. Although, for some reason, the bitch in black appeared again the very next day. She came informing them that Roman had a new objective.

The six individuals were sat at the Villainous Dining Table once more. There seemed to be tension amongst Cinder's faction. It seemed Mercury's defiance didn't sit well with his boss.

Roman: Why are you here, Cinder?

The Gangstar was taking puffs out of one of his premium cigars. The smell of smoke filled the nose of everyone at the table.

Cinder: I've come to tell you that your role has changed.

Ludwig leaned forward in his seat, already distrusting of her.

Ludwig: I thought we had two more months of dust collecting. What changed?

Mercury eyed Cinder suspiciously. The hunter noticed that what that witch had planned was outside the grace of her underlings, if you could call Mercury that.

Cinder: I've spoken with my mistress, and our plans have changed. Petty things such as robbery are beneath us.

A vein popped out of Roman's neck. Clearly, Cinder's presence was doing it's personal magic of being an annoyance to everyone else in the room.

Roman: Alright, then what are our new goals?

Cinder poured a vial of multicolored dust on the table. Just like last time, she used her semblance to shift the dust into a map of Vale. Roman expected the dust to focus on the city, but instead it shifted into a more advanced landscape of the mountains around Vale.

Cinder: Roman, you and your pet illusionist will be operating within the underground ruins of Mt. Glenn. You will be loading all of the dust you've collected into a train as well as establishing a base of operations.

The dust shifted into a locomotive carrying 8 carts, all filled to the brim with dust containers. Napoleon took note of the tunnels seeming to lead in Vale's direction. However, she decided that anything crucial should be discussed with Roman and Ludwig in private.

Cinder: Oh, and you'll also he accompanied by Mercury and Emerald.

Her two underlings had various reactions. Emerald stood up out of shock and Mercury bitterly glared at Cinder.

Emerald: What?! But what about-

Emerald's beloved leader glared daggers at her. The raging orange flame emanated from her eyes, just like when she fought the hunter.

Cinder: You will obey without second thought. Are we clear, Emerald?

She slowly sat down in her seat. Frustration was apparent in her eyes, and Mercury's bitter resignation set that frustration up further.
