They walked beside thier horses, in the final stretch of thier travel. Cronus let his horse as Kankri slept of the back of the horse. Porrim lead hers before theirs and continued looking around.
And then it all went dark.
"Sto+p." She spoke quickly and Cronus did as he was told and hopped on his horse pulling Kankri close.
"hello humans~~~~"
"Oh hush you're not cool."
"SHUT UP IM TRYING TO BE MYSTERIOUS."
"Okay okay, goooo on."
"Hello humans~~~"
"Who+ are yo+u?" Porrim spoke to the voices.
"Where f-"
"SHHHHHH CALLIOPE!!!!"
"Okay okayyyyy I'm sorry."
"We're the protectors of these woods."
"Wvhat do you wvant from us?"
"uh..."
There was a rustle and a small quiet argument. A small green fairy stepped out of the bushes, her face had the look of a skull but her eyes were bright blue almost as a crystal. "We don't wish for anything..." She spoke and smiled as her brother ran out, hiding behind her. "I'm Calliope. This is Caliborn. We don't get many visitors..." She spoke once more looking up at them, the dark disappearing. Kankri's eyes fluttered open from slumber. "W-wh9 is this?.." He asked softly. "We're f-fairies." Caliborn explained.
"Come well lead you to the castle!!!"
