[Ghost]
I'm pacing around in a small dark room. After the host took y/n to dance with her, I wanted to do some more solo investigating. But before I knew it I was hit in the back of the neck and I woke up here. Locked up.
A cold, damp stone chamber which I am assuming is in the basement of the mansion. But since there are no windows, I can't be sure.
They knew we were spies. Probably from the moment we arrived.
The host picking Y/N wasn't at random, this was planned.
God, I hope she is okay. Who knows what that man would do to her..
The worry and uncertainty is getting to me.
Once I woke up I tried reaching her over the earpiece, but no response. Only static.
I keep trying, growing frustrated as it still doesn't work.
I let out a loud grunt as I hit the solid stone wall with my fist. ''Goddamn it..'' I mutter under my breath.
Suddenly I hear two sets of footsteps approaching, stopping as they reach my cell.
I hear a loud click as the heavy metal door slowly opens. I prepare myself to fight, determined to break out and find y/n as soon as possible.
As the door fully opens, I feel myself nailed to the ground. My hands fall to my sides as I stare in disbelief.
Two henchmen stand in the opening, blocking it fully. One throws y/n at my feet. She hits the ground with a loud thud.
I kneel down at her instantly, instinctively checking her pulse.
Thank God, she is alive. I feel relieved even though seeing her unconscious still worries me.
I allow her head to rest on my chest as I am holding her up, my arms firmly around her.
The henchmen leave without saying a word, locking the door.
My focus is only on her. She looks peaceful, unharmed on the outside. Her chest slowly rises and falls, as she breathes softly through her mouth. But I worry as I notice a faint smell of alcohol mixed with.. something else. I can't place it, but I know instantly it's what caused her to lose consciousness. I have had enough training and experience to know.
''Y/n..'' I softly call her name, as I gently shake her.
''Wake up.. come on.'' My tone is soft, warm, yet stern as I can't take the uncertainty anymore.
After a few minutes she starts to slowly stir in my arms. Her cheek slowly moves along my chest as she starts to wake up.
Her eyes flutter, visibly disoriented as I try to comfort her.
''Easy..easy.. it's me.''I feel her reaction as she seems to register my voice. ''Ghost..?'' Her voice is raspy, faint as she looks up meeting my gaze.
''I'm here..'' I say with a faint smile. ''How are you feeling?''
She grunts as she tries to sit up. I place my hand firmly on her back so she can rest against it.
''Im.. okay..'' She says still a bit faint as she holds her head in her hand.
''Bastard spiked my drink.'' she grumbles.I nod, as I already suspected it. ''They figured us out'' I growl in frustration, my gaze on the metal door.
Y/N takes a deep breath, as she tries to come back to her senses. Her eyes are narrowed, her face looks a bit paler than usual.
''Where are we?'' she asks as she slowly scans the room.
''I don't know. But it's time to break out of here..'' I grunt, my gaze moving back to her.
