[Y/N]

Two weeks have passed after sealing the deal with Ghost.

I have spent every free hour, besides of course my regular missions and paperwork, searching for information about Vince.

Ghost and I meet every evening at 11PM sharp in his office, to look over all the information we have gathered.

But last week has been slow in particular, and I'm starting to get impatient and agitated.

I barge into Ghosts office at 10:55. He is already sitting behind his laptop on his desk, busy typing as his eyes are glued to the screen.

''You're early.'' He says without looking up.

I slam the door behind me, which makes Ghost's eyes jolt up at me.

''If you're in a bad mood i'd rather have you go to bed.'' He mutters.

I scoff as I slam the papers on his dark wooden desk, ignoring his comment.

''Only thing i found is a sighting of him from about 4 months ago..''

''..In Chicago.'' Ghost interrupts me.

''In Chicago.'' I repeat. ''So you already have that information?''

Ghost nods slowly. I let out a frustrated grunt as I let myself fall on a black leathered chair across from his desk.

''This is pointless. This guy hides every aspect of his identity, how the hell are we going to find him?''

''Find him?'' Ghosts eyebrow raises as he keeps typing.

I narrow my eyes, annoyed he doesn't even stop working while talking about such an important topic.

''Yes find him, what the hell do you think we've been doing for the past two weeks!?'' I snarl.

''Finding information about a terrorist organization for the protection of our country, possibly also the world.'' Ghost says cold.

I look down at the floor. He is right. I made this mission a personal one, forgetting our original goal was not to only find information about Vince. The idea was to keep an eye on him to reach our main goal: uncovering their organizations plans and stop them before they can succeed.

Ghost finally stops typing as he places his elbows on his desk, head resting on his folded hands.

''This is why I didn't want you involved y/n, you make this a personal mission. You forget our original goal.'' He doesnt sound surprised, more like he already saw this coming from miles away. Yet, his tone is low like he is annoyed about it still.

''Well too bad, we made a deal.'' I mutter as I grab an old stack of papers from Ghost's desk and scan them over.

Without looking up, I walk over the whiteboard at the side of Ghost's office. We set it up to make an overview of all the information we have gathered.

Vince is the terrorist organization's leader. He has been for about 1,5 years. His mission where he killed Four was his last one as just a soldier. Without my knowledge, since I was occupied grieving the death of my partner, my squad killed the enemy's leader known as ''Red''. With Red gone, Vince saw his chance to take over the role as leader, earning enough respect because of his performances. Since then he changed from just a soldier to a successful leader and businessman, as he started transporting narcotics and weapons. Which earned him the big mansion and fancy parties.

We found out now that Vince is so popular among his guests, because they are all in some form his clients. The wifes only play their part to make Vince feel special as their husbands need to count on his business. It's all just a big act.
