[Y/N]

''I swear to God Sarah he is such an asshole..''

Sarah looks at me while holding her own string of beads. She paused threading them.

''He is just looking out for you. That's what a Lieutenant does right?''

I let out an annoyed grunt as I dig into the pink sack of beads on Sarah's bed.

I lost track of how many bracelets we made while talking.

''He wont let me alone with Atlas, because he is sooo afraid he might betray us too. And that's not all, he is basically controlling my every step. You have no idea how exhausting that is! He is really overdoing it.''

Sarah doesn't immediately respond so I turn my gaze to her. A slight smile forms on her face.

''What?'' I snarl.

Sarah's smile gets wider as she keeps her focus on her blue and green patterned beads string.

''It's nothing..'' She says, holding in her laughter. ''Do you even realize you have been talking about him none stop since you got in here?''

I feel the heat rise to my cheeks as I shift my gaze to focus extra hard on my own bracelet.

Sarah looks at me as I don't respond. Her playful smile changes into a warm one.

I jolt slightly as she places her hand on my forearm, making me pause my threading.

Reluctantly I meet her gaze, hoping she won't notice my flustered cheeks.

Her eyes look saddened, yet caring along with her smile.

It makes my heartbeat pick up its pace, like I already know what she is about to say.

''It's okay y/n..'' She says it softly, carefully. But the words hit me like a ton of bricks.

The air weighs heavy on my shoulders and I actually start to feel lightheaded.

She continues, caressing my arm.

''He would want you to find love again, you know that too.. don't you?''

I feel like someone is stepping on my chest as the tears immediately sting behind my eyes and I have to pull myself lose from Sarah's grip to keep a hold of my emotions.

My breathing becomes a bit more labored. ''That is not what this is. I could never betray Four like that..'' I manage to breathe out, my voice restrained due to the stress I'm feeling.

''You're not betraying him y/n..'' Sarah says warmly, as her gaze turns even more sad. She knows how much her words strike me, but still continues. ''You are betraying yourself by not letting yourself have the chance to feel happy again..''

My heart beats loudly in my chest as I feel my anger rise. ''Sarah, you are not listening! With him!? Really? He is nothing like Four! What are you thinking!?'' I snap at her as I jolt up, my thread falling on the floor as the beads snap off of it and roll over the floor.

Sarah watches me, the sounds of my heavy breathing filling the room. She stays calm and collected as she keeps threading her own bracelet.

''Exactly. He is what you need right now. Not two years ago. I understand it is hard, but we all need to move on..Do not shut your eyes for new love y/n. You deserve to be happy.''

She pauses as she lays down the bracelet on her lap.

''From all I hear, he really cares about you. Maybe if you would be more open to him, you two would actually start to get along?''
