[Ghost]
''Hold still.''
Night winces in pain as I tie a piece of my shirt over his shoulder to stop the bleeding.
Naturally, they took everything from us. Even my first aid kit. But this will keep him alive.
Night and I are locked into a cell, one like Atlas described over the radio. The one with the big metal door, which you need a code for to open.
I was outraged when the sack was removed from my head. I was hoping Y/n would be here, around at least. But I haven't seen a sign of her, and I am growing more concerned by the second.
I stand up as I finish patching up Night. He nods gratefully as he catches his breath.
I start pacing in the room, trying to think of a plan.
Soap is still outside. But they also took our radios, so he will have to freestyle.
Bloody hell.
I mutter some curse words as my mind works overtime. Night sits with his back against the wall, his head slightly tilted backwards as he looks at me.
''So..'' He says hesitantly.
I don't even bother looking at him, I'm too busy thinking of a way out.
But as he keeps staring at me, I let out a loud sigh.
''What is it.'' I grumble.
''You seem.. really concerned about y/n..'' Night says slowly, like he is thinking out loud.
''Do you two.. I mean..''
''No.'' I grunt, as my patience runs thin. Soap already pisses me off with the assumptions, so my tolerance for Night is basically at zero.
Night smirks a bit. ''I don't mean to pry..''
''Then don't." I add some weight to my words, so he understands this is how far he can go. His smirk pisses me off even more.
Makes me regret patching him up.
I let my hand sink in my pocket as I take out y/n's locket. I carefully move it around in my gloved hand.
I feel Night's gaze on me and the locket. He doesn't say anything at first.
''Is that..?''
I nod as I let the locket sink in my pocket again. ''It probably got snapped off while y/n was fighting..'' My heart feels heavy, knowing how much she would have fought against her attacker.
I jolt out of my thoughts as I suddenly hear some rumbling near us.
I walk towards the metal door and press my ear against it.
It's so solid that it is very hard to hear anything, but I swear I hear a loud thud followed by a female muffled grunt.
''Someone is out there..'' I whisper to Night.
''Y/n?'' I yell.
Another soft grunt as I hear someone shift.
''Y/N!'' I yell again.
The shifting stops, like the person standing on the other side is startled.
Night grunts as he lifts himself off the floor, standing next to me.
He places his ear against the door as well.
''Siren..?'' He asks.
I hear a soft gasp on the other side. Night's eyes widen.
