[Ghost]

Vince just smirks at my words as he parades around y/n. He has the same smug look on his face as when he steals the husbands wifes at his parties.

A look of power. He knows he has the upperhand. It makes me sick.

My eyes never leave y/n's. I'm desperately trying to communicate with her, but to no avail.

Her always so deep y/ec eyes, looking dull. Her fiery spirit is nowhere to be found..

''Ah Lieutenant Ghost.. I see you came to see your favorite recruit?'' Vince taunts as he places his hands on y/n's shoulders, standing behind her.

''Don't you touch her.'' I growl. ''TELL ME WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO HER!'' my voice booms through the room, my rage evident.

Vince chuckles. ''I mean.. I could? But maybe it's best if I show you.'' he narrows his eyes, as his expression becomes even darker.

As he hands y/n a knife, my eyes grow wide.

''What?''

''Y/n.'' Vince says in a commanding tone. ''Kill him.''

Before I can fully register what Vince just said I see Y/n jolting towards me. Knife out.

I can only barely escape, as I dodge quickly to the side, creating some distance between us.

My heart beats louder in my chest. The reality kicks in once I slowly straighten myself.

''No..'' I growl confused, not wanting to believe what I am seeing.

Y/n is looking at me. Still glazed, but her eyes determined.

Her knife is ready in a strike position. I know the stance, she is seriously intending on killing me.

''You fucking brainwashed her!?'' I yell at Vince, my voice low like a rumble. My anger escalates to its boiling point as my chest heaves rapidly.

So this is what he meant by recruiting her.

Vinces amused chuckle answers my question. As I move my body swiftly while walking backwards, trying to dodge y/n's stabs as she moves her knife from left to right.

I don't want to hurt her, so all I can do is avoid.

''Y/n, come on. Cut it out. LISTEN TO ME WILL YA?'' I yell at her, breathing heavily as it takes a lot of stamina to dodge her movements.

There isn't a muscle moving in y/n's face. Not a glimmer of recognition. Completely empty.

When her arm is fully stretched I hit the inside of her elbow hard, causing her to lose balance. I don't hesitate as I place my hand firmly in her back, pushing her to the floor.

She grunts as she falls, it buys me some time before she stands up again. I just stand there looking at her, fists clenched.

''Y/n..'' I try desperately to make her snap out of it. ''Come on. Can you hear me? it's me.''

I speak gently, my voice tinged with anger, yet my overwhelming concern for her is clearly more evident at this moment.

I take a few steps back to create more distance, but as I do so, Vince walks behind Y/n, placing a hand firmly on her shoulder.

She immediately lowers her knife, standing still like a statue due to Vince's touch.

He brings his mouth close to her ear. I can only watch in disgust. gritting my teeth in anger.

''He is your Lieutenant, remember...?'' He growls, with his cocky smirk. ''Your bossy, ruthless Lieutenant.. who has done nothing but hurt you..''

My breath hitches in my throat as Vince continues.
''This is your chance y/n.. make him pay for ever underestimating you...''
