Trigger Warnings: Attempted suicide & suicidal thoughts

The galaxy stopped.

She had failed.

She turned to look at Cody, paralyzed with fear.

He had his blaster aimed at her.

She gripped her lightsaber so tight her knuckles became white, and began to run as fast as she could, even just for the chance or time to make an escape plan.

Cody ordered a missile to be shot at Obi-Wan, Grim stopped running as she watched her Master tumble down into the sinkhole.

She wanted to scream, but she couldn't, now all the clones' eyes were on her, and she was the Jedi they targeted.

She ran.

She ran.

And she ran as fast as she could.

With no direction in her mind.

All she knew was she had to get away from the clones.

Blaster fire rained down around her.

Not the color of the enemy but still her enemy nonetheless.

A bolt hit.

Her shoulder burned.

She screamed.

Grim dropped her lightsaber and clutched her shoulder as tears built up in her eyes, her shoulder searing.

She fell to her knees on the ground as she cried.

She had to keep going.

She moved her hand, there was blood on her hand from her wound.

She had to keep going.

She picked up her lightsaber again and ran.

She ran despite the searing pain in her shoulder.

She ran despite the knowledge that she had failed.

She couldn't think, all she knew was that she had to survive.

She deflected blaster bolts left and right, hoping she didn't hit any of her brothers.

She knew they were trying to kill her, but she still saw them as her family.

She ran.

And she ran.

And she stopped.

And she turned.

She was surrounded.

In front of her were the 212th, their blasters aimed at the ready.

Ready to kill her.

Behind her was the edge of the cliff and if she fell off that edge she would surely die.

There was no surviving, Grim could tell.

Even so she still had a choice.

No matter what happened she would die, however she could still choose how she died.

The choice wasn't hard.

Grim wasn't going to die the way a Sith had planned.

Grim wasn't going to die at the hands of the men she had fought beside for years.

Men that had grown to be brothers.

Grim made her choice.

"I'm sorry, Master," she whispered.
