The Headquarters, Alpha Earth

Within the bustling confines of the protocol's training room, agents engaged in rigorous exercises under the watchful guidance of Sage. Her leadership radiated an aura of discipline and dedication, a testament to her prowess as both a warrior and a mentor.

Amidst the clamor of training, three agents found themselves gathered in the prep room, a glass partition separating them from the main training area. From their vantage point, they observed their comrades in action, their conversation blending seamlessly with the sounds of training.

Glitch, with a furrowed brow that betrayed his curiosity, was the first to speak. "What can you tell me about agent eight?"

Sova, his attention piqued by Glitch's inquiry, turned his head slightly. "Knightmare? Why the sudden interest?"

Glitch leaned in, his gaze occasionally drifting towards the ongoing training as he contemplated his response. "I have a feeling she might have answers to some of the unsolved mysteries we've encountered."

As anticipation filled the air, Glitch pulled out a copy of a letter he had discovered within the protocol's archives. He handed it to Omen, who stood next to him, and Sova, walked closer and joined them to scrutinize its contents.

Brimstone,

I hope this letter finds you well. I would like to apologize for being so stubborn in the past. I know I pushed my ideas too hard, and I'm sorry for that.

The Eye of Time has let me see into the future, and right now, I see danger all around us. There's a mysterious entity looking for powerful artifacts, including my Eye of Time. These artifacts are incredibly powerful and dangerous. If the entity finds them, it would mean the end of our time.

I asked you to get in touch with Kingdom and tell them about this danger. With their help, we could warn everyone on Earth and work together to secure these artifacts, for the safety of our world depends on it.

But I realized that it's a big decision to make, and there's no concrete evidence of this threat yet. It would put the whole planet in a state of panic for no reason, and I'm sorry for pushing you on this earlier.

But I've decided to take matters into my own hands. I will travel through time to hide the artifacts in my possession from the enemy. It's a risky move, and it will cost me a lot of my life force, but I believe it's the only way to keep our world safe.

I'm saying goodbye for now, but I hope that one day, we'll meet again in a safer time.

Sincerely,

Knightmare

"Where did you find this letter?" Omen inquired, his gaze turning to Glitch.

Glitch leaned back in his chair, running a hand through his hair as he recounted, "I found it in the archives library, hidden away among old records. Cypher wouldn't know."

Omen nodded, absorbing this information. "What does this have to do with any of the cases the Protocol is currently working on?" he asked, his analytical mind seeking a connection.

Glitch took a deep breath before revealing his deeper concerns. "It might not be directly related to any ongoing cases, but it's about something more significant. This might sound crazy, but I had a vision, from an outworlder. The problem is, I don't have any concrete proof that it's true. I don't even know if it was a genuine warning or just a hallucination."
