It's been two weeks since Daniella took us shopping. Lorenzo helped Luca and I learn how to use the laptops and our phones. This helped us build a relationship with him and it didn't take us long to figure out how to use the gadgets. We all had one thing in common, we liked reading. So we'd discuss all the books we read and make jokes about the characters, well mostly me and Enzo while Luca just listened. Luca is starting to warm up and I know that if he can do it, I can too cause he's deemed them safe even though I can tell he is still wary around them.
We're now getting ready for bed cause tomorrow we're all going to school. “You ready for tomorrow? ” Luca asks as he puts his new phone away. Luca and I never have it easy at schools not that we aren't smart we just haven't had time to fully invest in school. We've been bullied all our lives and I don't think it'll be different here. Luca always protects me but I don't think he's always going to be by my side. As if he can hear my thoughts he says “I'll be there if you need me, no matter what I'm doing ” I sigh still feeling a little nervous.
Fabio told us that we had to at least take part in 1 school club or do an extra curricular activity. We'll get our time tables tomorrow and pick which club we wanna join. Luca throws a pillow at me and tells me to go to sleep. I throw one back and close my eyes. I've adjusted a little so Luca sleeps in his room now.

“Ughhh” I groan at the beeping alarm and take a shower. I get out and I see myself in the mirror. I look a little different less tense, happier but the scars on my body from all the beatings still visible laughing at me reminding me that I'll never be happy. Then I think about Luca who took half of my beatings on top of his own, his scars must be worse, his pain is worse than mine. I will always be grateful to him for protecting me but he always focuses on when he wasn't able to protect me and it hurts to see him beat himself up for it. I clear my head, get dressed and do my hair.

I walk out and see Luca wearing a school uniform and I can't help but laugh at how irritated he looks. To make the uniform more his style he put on some converse shoes and wore some earrings.

Earrings are a dress code violation and so are converses” I say in a playful manner
“I looked stuck up plus I don't like the uniform” he says like it's the most obvious thing in the world. I walk down stares and say “but you are stuck up Luca ” laughing knowing he could get in trouble.

Goodmorning I say to everyone
“You know converses are a dress code violation” Emilio says causing me to giggle softly so that only Luca could hear. He looks at Emilio and puts his finger on his mouth and goes “shh, no one has to know I'm wearing them”
We eat in silence and Luca and I drive to school with Emilio since the twins were already gone.
The drive is silent until Emilio says welcome to Auradon High.
