I go to the office reception and see the principal talking on the phone, he hangs up the call and greets me with a smile knowing that I don't take it well when people shout at me. "Mr. Russo, thank you for coming" Principal Douglas says "I didn't have a choice now did I? Let's get to why I'm here" "During lunch your son attacked one of our soccer players, Tyler for no reason and when others tried to stop him he didn't want to. It was only after the twins got him off that he stopped. They're waiting in my office. I know they're new here but this behavior is not tolerated Mr. Russo" This confirms that it was indeed Lucas who started the fight. "Did you ask him why he did it? " I ask "I didn't get the chance since I had to talk to Tyler's parents and Tyler explained that they were just talking and he attacked him. This calls for suspension or even expulsion Mr. Russo " says the principal "Let's go hear his side of the story" I say to him and walk to his office.
We open the door and all my kids are there sitting quietly. Odd. I look at Lucas "Explain" demanding an answer and wanting no room for arguments. "I punched that dumbfuck in the face" he says in a bored tone I give him a stern look and he rolls his eyes with a sigh "I'd like to talk to my children alone Douglas " he leaves the room and I grab Lucas by the neck not hard enough to kill him but enough to scare him into thinking I would. Though in doing this I scared the wrong person but I won't back out just yet. He looks me dead in the eye almost waiting for me to just snap his neck. "Why did you do it" I ask "Dad stop you're gonna kill him" Emilio protests "He was just protecting Laureline" Lorenzo says "By making that soccer boy bleed? " "Yes, Tyler was trying to perv on Laureline" Carter says bringing me back to my senses I drop him and Laureline is right by his side with a water bottle. Laureline's hands are shaking and instead of her comforting Lucas, he's comforting her that's he's fine.
I grab the telephone on the principal's desk and tell him to come back inside. "Do you know what happens in your school while you're in your office?" "Yes sir we pride ourselves in-" "I want that soccer boy gone" "What? Sir " "That star player of yours is harassing my daughter. I want him gone and I'm not asking, I'm telling. They will all be back at school on Wednesday. " I leave no room for arguing as we leave the office. "Go get your stuff, we're going home"
