Urokodaki's POV

Urokodaki continued to chop wood outside his cabin, his mind occupied by the arrival of the blacksmith who was bringing Y/N's Nichirin sword.

It had been two weeks since Y/N's return from the Final Selection, and the change in his student's demeanor had raised many questions in Urokodaki's mind.

He couldn't help but worry about what had happened to the boy during his time at Mount Fujikasane...besides well...probably watching other kids his age die.

As Urokodaki continued, he called out to Y/N, who was inside the cabin. "Y/N, your sword has arrived," he said, staring at the blacksmith in the distance approaching.

"Oh, great! I'll be right there in a moment," Y/N said from inside.

This response only deepened Urokodaki's concern. Y/N's newfound friendliness and calmer personality were a far cry from the rough and impulsive traits he had displayed.

The old man watched as Y/N stepped out of the cabin and spotted the approaching blacksmith, who was making his way towards them.

Haganezuka Hotaru approached them. He was clad in a sunflower-patterned haori, his head wrapped in a spotted head scarf, and his face concealed behind a Hyottoko mask. A large, woven hat with hanging floral wind chimes sat atop the headscarf.

The blacksmith came to a stop before Y/N and Urokodaki, acknowledging their presence with a bow "My name is Haganezuka Hotaru" a name that wasn't unfamiliar to Urokodaki.

Haganezuka continued speaking, "I have crafted this fine sword for Shinazugawa Y/N."

"Thank you, I am Shinazu-"

Haganezuka cut him off.

"This sword is made from Scarlet Crimson Iron Sand and Scarlet Ore," he said, "Both of which are found in high mountains like the Sunlight Mountain, forever bathed in sunlight..."

He went on a rant about the sword.

Y/N exchanged a look with Urokodaki, who merely shrugged in response.  "Haganezuka has always been known for his obsession with swords. He takes great pride in his work." Urokodaki explained.

Now inside the cabin, as Haganezuka unwrapped the sword and handed it to Y/N, he continued, "Please, unsheathe your sword, they change colors depending on the Breathing Style and the skills of its users, something tells me we will see a beautiful blue color."

Y/N complied and unsheathed the katana, revealing a vibrant blue hue on the blade. "Ah yes! Of course, it makes sense, given your training in Water Breathing that has been Urokodaki's guidance." Haganezuka commented on the color.

However, as Y/N continued to examine the sword, the blade's color shifted unexpectedly.

Both men gasped as Y/N stared at the sword.

It transitioned to yellow and blue, leaving both Y/N and Urokodaki somewhat surprised.

"Hmmm, well you also have trained in Thunder Breathing," Urokodaki suggested.

Just when they thought they had it figured out, the sword's color shifted again.

To green.

Then red.

Gray.

It continued to shift through a variety of colors, including light pink and several others. It was an interesting display of ever-changing colors as if it were a rainbow.
