Still (Y/N)'s perspective:

After Seokjin dropped me off at home, he left because he had a meeting.

I fully throw myself into my work again, trying to work through my pent up feelings. Or at least ignore them.

I fall asleep on my desk, incredibly stiff the next morning when I woke up.

I had way too many missed calls when I checked the time on my phone, forgetting to actually check the time.

One missed call from Namjoon and a few throughout the night from Jungkook.

I call Namjoon back first.

"Sorry for missing your call. I fell asleep and fell hard" I admit when he picked up.
"It's all good. Wanted to check in with you" I hear Namjoon say.

"I'm fine. You?" I shortly say.
"Yeah. Can I come over? I thought we could watch the breakfast club or something" Namjoon suggests.
"Wow. Does the great Kim Namjoon have time for me?" I ask with a small smile.
"Foolish peasant girl. To ask such a vile question" Namjoon teases.

This conversation feels like deja vu.

"Door is open for you" I say, hanging up.

('Stupid. Stupid! I could've said something a lot cooler' Namjoon basically bangs the phone against his head as he curses himself.)

I call Jungkook back and it takes a few rings before he picks up.

"I can't believe what a loser you are. You'd rather sleep than play video games with your bestie" I can practically hear Jungkook pout.
"Tonight?" I suggest.
"I guess you can make it up to me. We're playing Mario. Bye~" Jungkook gleefully says in the end and hangs up.

Jungkook is an odd phone person. Chronically online, but horrible texter.

"Ever watch the breakfast club?" Namjoon asks the moment he steps inside, ignoring greetings.
"Not yet" I simply say.
"Good answer" he points at me with a nod then turns to the television, trying to start the movie.

"Do you have a dress for tomorrow?" Namjoon suddenly asks, way too casually at that, eyes on the television. Tomorrow is the date with Jimin.

Yes-date and not 'date'. Definitely not throwing that chance away.

Only a crazy person would.

"Or at least something nice" Namjoon quickly adds on.

"I-"
"We should go shopping" Namjoon answers like it was a recorded response, realising he spoke a bit fast.

"You-want to go shopping?" I almost laugh at the thought.

He's definitely the poor guy dragged along by the girl in movies. Carrying all her bags and die at every opportunity of a seat.

"I need a new shirt anyway" Namjoon says, still not looking at me.
"Fortunately for you, I have an outfit" I spare Namjoon the excruciatingly long hours of shopping with me.

"You're going to make me go shopping alone?" Namjoon sulks as he finally looks at me.

He looks the same as ever.

"I thought it'd be a fun thing to do. By the way, do you cycle?" Namjoon says, rubbing his neck.

I slowly smile, realising what's going on.

Most definitely the type to get clingy when he gets close to someone. That's why he's been over a lot lately.

"This isn't a date. I mean as friends" he quickly adds on.
"Don't worry, Romeo. I didn't take it that way" I chuckle.
