AUTHOR'S POV
Kiara saw Varun passing by her side it's the first time in the past one week that he has not greeted her,well it's usually him greeting her and her replying with a nod .
But today he went past her without acknowledging her presence.
"Khair mujhe kya " "Accha kya kuch nai kaha" she said to herself.
AFTER FEW HOURS
"Ki!" Vansh called Kiara.
"Yes bhai" she said coming near him
"Yesterday you left the office past work time,right" he asked.
" Yes" she said lowly thinking he is gonna scold her.
"Was Varun here too when you were leaving?"
"Huh?" "I mean..why are you asking this?"
"Don't know what happened to him ,yesterday he called me saying he wants to go back then he will send somebody to take his place"
"And today also he is all quiet that's so unusual of him" Vansh said.
Yesterday's memory again resurfaced Kiara's mind and she is now feeling guilty for her behaviour towards him.
"Wo bhai.."
"It's ok I know you don't know anything"
"You go I'll talk to him" Vansh said before leaving .
Here Kiara has went on her guilt trip,because ahe doesn't behave like to somebody unless and until the fault is their.
But here the case is different she doesn't hate him in real, it's just that she felt a different aura around him,something mysterious from which she wants to stay away .
She was engrossed in her thoughts when she saw Varun passing by her office
She went behind him and called him
"Varun!" he stopped walking hearing his name called out.
Turning around he saw her standing behind
"Abb...wo " she said hesitantly
"Leave it" he said and was about to go
"Ek min" "Meri baat to suno"
"Bolo" he said turning towards her.
"Listen I am sorry,I didn't wanted to hurt you" she apologized
"It's okay" he said and was about to go again but
"Aree! sorry kaha na"
"Things always don't go the way we want" Varun said .
"Besides you don't need to be guilty,I have forgiven you,don't worry"
"No I am not guilty" she said
immediately.
"Oh! then?"
"I just wanted to clear things out"
"But that hasn't been done" "And it will never be in this way" he said
"How??" She asked in confusion.
"Like every work has it's own process, similarly this also has"
"And what is that?"
"Coffee!"
"Coffee?!"
"Yes you have to buy me coffee"
"Otherwise your apology may get rejected" he said dramatically.
"Uff!" That's all she said before heading towards the cafeteria with him.
