Side note: Will's back in Chicago, yes, I know it's a bit confusing, but the Natalie who died is with Will, Isn't the same Natalie Manning!

It was Erin and Jay's first day back at work, after their housefire.

"Morning!" Kim smiled.

Erin and Jay smiled, and walked to their desk.

"So, how long are you two, on desk for?" Adam wondered.

"I'm 2 more weeks, Jay's 6 weeks." Erin replied.

The unit nodded, and carried on working.

Soon. Will, came upstairs.

"Will?" Jay asked.

Will nodded, and came over.

"W-Where's my kid?" Will cut to the chase.

Jay stood straight up, and spoke.

"Lily? The one who you abandoned?" Jay questioned.

"Y-You can't do this, Jay." Will shook his head.

"When it concerns my daughter, I can." Jay deadpanned.

"Lily's not your daughter, Jay!" Will exclaimed.

The whole unit stood up, and came over.

"Alright! Jay has been a father to your little girl, more than you, and you can't even say thank you? What's wrong with you?" Adam asked.

Will sighed, and looked at his brother.

"Jay, I-." Will stopped.

"No! Mom knew it was a bad idea for you to come back to Chicago, I don't know why you did?" Jay shook his head.

"Coz, I wanna make amends with my kid." Will defended.

Jay sighed, and spoke.

"Fine! If you do anything, I mean anything, to upset my kid? I'll make sure you never come back to Chicago, Copy?" Jay questioned.

Will nodded, and waited for Lily.

As Erin brought Lily over, she saw Will.

"Woo you?" Lily babbled.

Will smiled, and spoke.

"I-I'm your dad, sweetie." Will smiled.

Lily shook her head.

"No, Jay Jay's my da-da." Lily responded.

"Lily, Jay's your uncle, I'm your dad." Will explained.

Will's words, made Lily burst into tears.

"Alright, I warned you, your upsetting my kid, get your ass out of here!" Jay ordered.

Will sighed, and walked downstairs.

"Woo tat?" Lily asked.

"No one for you to worry about, Lil-Bear." Erin reassured.

Lily nodded, and fell onto Erin's shoulder.

"Right, I have to go, to Hailey's funeral..." Jay looked down.

Erin kissed Jay's lips, and tided his tie.

"Your gonna be okay, baby." Erin soothed.

Jay nodded, and fixed his suit.

"Good luck!" The unit chanted.

Jay thanked them, and walked downstairs.

"So, how much did Adam bet on, for Jay to wake up, before six?" Erin raised an eyebrow.

"$20." The unit replied.

Adam faked hurt, but agreed.

"I knew it. Adam's money, is now my money." Erin smirked.

"But?" Adam paused.

"Bet on my husband, steal your money, simples." Erin responded.

Adam sighed, and crossed his arms.

"Aww, don't be a sore loser, Adam." Erin pouted.

The unit all laughed, and sat at their desks.

A few hours later. Jay walked upstairs, with his tie hanging loose, and a couple of shirt buttons undone, his hair everywhere.

"Jay?" Erin asked.

Jay walked towards the locker room, and shut the door.

The unit heard the door slam, they knew it went badly.

"I'll go, check on him." Erin nodded.

Hank nodded, and kept Marcus and Lily, occupied.

As Erin opened the door. Jay was sobbing on the shower floor.

"Oh, my, Jay!" Erin gasped.

Erin came over, and walked into the shower.

Erin brought a cold, broken, Jay, into her warm arms.

"I got you, baby, I got you." Erin soothed.

Erin reached up, and turned the shower on.

"Did you not remember that you have to take your clothes off, before a shower?" Erin tried lighting the mood.

Jay let out a small laugh, and cried again.

"How was the funeral, babe?" Erin whispered.

"H-Horrible! Hailey's family all laid into me, saying it was my fault for causing the crash, and it's my fault, that Hailey died." Jay explained.

Erin couldn't believe what she was hearing, it broke her heart.

"Jay, I can't imagine, what that was like for you, I am so sorry, but, that car crash, was not your fault at all. Hailey was drunk behind the wheel, not you, you didn't do anything wrong, babe, nothing." Erin promised.

Jay nodded, and broke into fresh tears.

"God, your freezing, Jay, let's get you into some nice clean, warm, clothes, hmm?" Erin suggested.

Jay nodded, and got up, with Erin's help.

"Here, change into these, baby." Erin handed the clothes.

Jay changed into his joggers, and placed the jumper on.

"I'm taking you home, you need some sleep.." Erin whispered.

"Yeah, I guess." Jay nodded.

Erin and Jay walked out of the locker room.

"I'm taking Jay home, he needs some sleep, I'm tired as well." Erin admitted.

"That's alright! Me and Trudy will look after Lil and Marc, go, look after your husband!" Hank shooed.

Erin and Jay smiled, and left the bullpen.

A few hours gone. Erin and Jay were asleep in bed.
