𝑆𝑃𝐸𝑁𝐶𝐸𝑅 𝐴𝑁𝐷 𝑉𝐴𝐿𝐸𝑁𝑇𝐼𝑁𝐴 𝑊𝐸𝑅𝐸 sent to Los Angeles, California where they were going to be doing a seminar on profiling for the local police. Profiling is an extremely effective tool and it was about time that everyday officers started using it.
With the free time they had, Spencer had brought Valentina to a contemporary art exhibit that his friend from university was running. Valentina has been surrounded by the art world for most of her life since her mother was an artist for thirty years and then an art buyer before she retired, so she at least knows how to navigate this social arena.
Spencer's friend had just found the two of them and immediately gave Spencer a hug as he exclaimed, "Spencer Reid! Dude, look at you! You look just the same. Nothing changed. Spencer was the only twelve year old in our graduating class. Just the same."
"Thanks. This is Special Agent Dr. Valentina Barnes. This is Parker Dunley. We went to high school together, as you can probably gather." Spencer introduced the two, to which Parker acknowledged, "That's a long title."
"Just Valentina is fine." She reassured as she held out her hand for him to shake. He didn't. Parker instead took her hand and kissed it before complimenting, "Then it's very nice to meet you, Valentina."
Valentina looked over to Spencer for help considering she didn't exactly want to be flirted with, but he only raised his eyebrows. He wasn't too sure how to react. He was more focused on wishing Parker hadn't kissed her hand. Valentina tried to break the tension, "Um, you have a beautiful gallery."
"Oh, thank you very much."
"Valentina's a big art enthusiast." Spencer informed, which was true. She didn't follow the same art that her mother was a fan of, but she enjoyed certain eras. "Really? What's your poison?"
