Blaise and I wander the school corridors to our next classes meanwhile, Draco is nowhere to be seen. "I mean, did you see the look on his face? It was amazing." He laughs, reminiscing about the boy who, in the class prior, accidentally turned his partner into a mouse. "I don't think I've ever seen McGonagall jump out of her seat so quick."

"That's terrible," I playfully slap his arm. "the poor boy almost went into shock when she stood up." I smile as we round the corner to his class.

"Wouldn't be surprised if he did." He begins walking in and we part ways so I can make my way to Charms but he stops me in the action. "Oh and Y/n, I wouldn't suggest going to your little meeting today." I eye him with confusion. "Unless of course, you'd be alright with another day of detention with Umbridge." He glances at my hand before walking into class.

How the hell would Blaise know about the room of requirements? I've just been telling him I've been either sitting in the garden or studying in the library during it. I assume I know what's going to happen, but have no time to relay the message to anyone but Luna and Maddie who sit near me in my next class; the rest are scattered across the school leaving me no time to tip them off.

"Shit," I mutter as the class ends and we hurry to the room of requirement as fast as possible although It's on the opposite end of the castle. The three of us peek around a corner and spot Umbridge, Filch, and a few Slytherins standing before the hidden entrance.

"Bombarda Maxima." The woman says in a sing-song voice just before the wall turns to rubble, revealing the large group of students inside. Harry stands in the front and I see Fred and George with wands at the ready behind him.

"Bloody hell, we're too late." Maddie whispers and Filch's focus flicks to the corner we hide around, causing us to duck back instantly. I gesture for the other two to get out of here, but Umbridge catches us in the act as we attempt to escape down the hall.

"Accio." She smiles malevolently and the three of us are yanked back, sliding against the stone of the corridor in front of the broken-down wall. "Other members of the army, is that correct?" Her unnaturally blue eyes bore into mine and I glance at Fred who shakes his head, gesturing for me to deny my association.

I stay silent and allow the professor to assume what my answer is, having not denied her question. "Pity." I was part of this too, I couldn't allow myself to avoid it. Besides, she'd find out one way or another, she has her ways whether I like it or not.

I spot Draco holding Cho by the arm, her head held down in shame as she's displayed for all of the students in the hidden room. I send him a disappointed look, but he reverts his focus and I knew then that he didn't rat us out just for the fun of it. At least, not as the full reason.

The prefects of each house escort the students to their common rooms and Percy stands behind Fred and I as we wait for the stairs to stop moving. "What on Earth were you thinking? You can't keep in line for anything can you, Fred? " The taller Weasley rolls his eyes and I refuse to look back at the prefect. "You're lucky it's only detention they're giving you."

"Merlin, would you shut it already, mate? We get it." Fred retorts.

"Well, I'm sure you know then that the Ministry is already getting involved. Fudge arrived a few minutes ago and went into Dumbledore's office." He replies before turning around and walking down the stairs we came, now that we've arrived at the common room.

Fred and I stay silent for a moment before walking in, the room being oddly empty for this time of day. The red-haired boy plops onto the couch in an exhausted manner, rubbing his eyes with his palm.

"I suspect you knew that was going to happen then." I nod, taking the spot beside him.

"Blaise tipped me off, but I didn't have time to let you guys know. I tried, Freddie." He drapes his arm around my shoulders, keeping his head hung back over the edge of the top of the couch.
