Once in Hogsmeade, we sit down at a table in The Three Broomsticks. My friends thought I deserved a day off after what happened with Pansy yesterday. I'm still shaken up about everything and trying to process it.

I slip into the seat next to Hermione as she orders a butter beer for each of us. "How are you?" Harry asks with a concerned expression.

"Okay." I reply, expressionless.

"Why are you acting so weird?" Ron asks, suspiciously.

I take a deep breath. "Just trying to wrap my head around the fact that everyone in school knows a secret that I've been trying to keep my whole life." I glance at my hands and back up at him.

"Well, we're always here for you if you need anything y/n." Ginny adds with a kind half grin. I nod, shifting my gaze over to the waitress nearing our table.

She places seven glasses on the table, Fred gently sliding mine towards me. We all have a casual conversation that included a lot of giggling and laughing. It was nice not having to worry about anything and just focusing on having a good time. Eventually, after a several more rounds of butter beer, we head back to the castle. We aren't drunk ,but definitely more than tipsy when we walk into the common rooms.

We spend a few hours there, playing games, talking, and dancing to music ,but soon enough everyone had fallen asleep except for Fred and I. I walk over to him carefully, trying not tot make a noise in the silent common room. "I need some air. Want to go on a walk?" I whisper, looking up at him.

"Yeah, sure." He responds leading forward from the couch.

As we are tiptoeing to the door, I hear a faint voice whisper to me. "Y/n? Where are you going?" Hermione asks, with squinted eyes from the fire's bright flames.

"Just to go on a walk. We'll be back shortly." I whisper back.

"Mkay." She mutters, yawning silently. I wait until she closes her eyes to turn back to Fred, who's hand is on the door handle. I nod, signaling him to open the door.

It's around nine o'clock and past curfew so, no one is in the hallways. Fred had to take me through a few secret passage ways so that Filtch wouldn't catch us roaming around. There were few close calls while we were making our way out of the castle. At one point Mrs.Norris had turned a corner unexpectedly, causing Fred to take my hand and abruptly pull me into another corridor.

Eventually we made our way outside, walking down the path to the pitch black lake. "I never thanked you for yesterday." I state, as we walk side by side.

"Oh, it was no problem." He replies.

"Thank you though, it meant a lot." I say with a subtle smile. He returns it.

"I've never met anyone like you, Weasley." I say, sitting down on the cold grass beside the lake.

"Oh yeah? Well, I've never met anyone like you before either Brooke." He responds, sitting down next to me.

His gaze sets upon my eyes. "Anyone so beautiful and kind." He adds, with a subtle smirk, making me blush. The moonlight shines down on his brown eyes, causing them to almost shimmer. He looks at me with a sense of gentleness. I lean forward and place my hand on his cheek, caressing it lightly with my thumb.

I can see his face grow pink, I grin. I feel him place his large hand on my waist and pull me in closer to his body. Our faces just inches away, I can feel his warm, minty breath fan my lips. He looks deep into my e/c eyes one last time before placing a long and gentle kiss onto my lips. His lips melt angelically into mine, and my hand slides down his chest, feeling his warm, toned body.

After a long minute, we pull away from each other and gaze out into the openness of the glistening, black lake.

Woah. He is good at that.

We share a grin, and a snicker once we realize we're both blushing. "It's far past curfew, we should probably head back." I mention.

"Yeah, probably." He says, still grinning. We stand up and start on the path back to the castle.

"So, what's up with you and Diggory?" He asks playfully, laying his arm across my shoulders. I roll my eyes in response, wrapping my arms around his waist.

We make it back to the common rooms without any trouble. Fred mutters the passcode, and we walk past the fat lady in the painting. We step into the room to see Hermione and everyone else still passed out on the couch and chairs.

We try to hold in our laughter as we notice the droplet of drool Ron has dripping from his mouth. I send Fred a 'Good Luck' kind of look before walking towards Hermione and Ginny who are both laying across the large, red couch.

I end up walking Ginny to her dorm and back to the common room to wake Hermione. I shut the door to our dorm, Hermione immediately flopping onto her bed exhaustedly.

"Hey, Mione do you want me to-" I begin, just to be interrupted by her snoring. I snicker silently whilst making my way over to my bed. 'That was a good day.' I think before flipping the light switch beside my nightstand, flooding the room with darkness.
