I step into potions class and take my seat next to Malfoy who is leaning back into his chair, his hands stuffed in his pockets. "Everyone take your seats. Do you all know what you're doing or shall I repeat myself?" Snape asks in an irritated tone. We all shake our heads. "Alright, begin to gather your supplies." He announces, walking to the front of the room, and sitting down in his chair.

I trudge up the isle, heading for the table of glass bottles and vials, along with other supplies. I secure a dark green liquid-filled vial in my hand, a deep orange colored one in the other, and balance 2 trays on my forearms. I carefully make my way back to our table and place everything onto its surface next to the black cauldron.

"You could've helped." I mention, sending Draco a glare.

"Looks like you were fine by yourself, don't you think love?" He replies with a smirk.

"Don't call me that." I retort. He flicks his eyebrows up, keeping his smirk. I roll my eyes and wrap my fingers around the glass. I trip over the leg of my chair, causing a drop of the green substance to land on my skin. "Ah." I whisper, rubbing the burned spot on my hand. His grey eyes quickly land on me.

"Let me do it." He says, snatching the vial from my fingertips rather gently. "With the amount of clumsy you are, you're bound to injure yourself before we even finish." He adds, pouring the liquid into the cauldron effortlessly, causing a puff of green to explode into his face.

"You must've not been listening love, he said to stand away from the cauldron when you pour that one." I say sarcastically, mimicking his voice. He slowly turns to face me, revealing his bright green messy hair and face. I burst out in laughter, holding onto the edge of the table for support.

"It is not funny." He growls, enunciating each word individually, but my giggles don't stop. Instead, tears build up in my eyes.

"It kind of is." I manage to get out in between breaths. He narrows his eyes, trying to keep a straight face, but fails once I flop onto the floor after losing my balance in hysterics. He offers me his hand and gets me back to my feet. He smiles as I let out one more giggle, trying to hold in the rest.

"Mr.Malfoy!" Snape shouts, snatching our attention immediately. "Go clean yourself up. Now!" He sends me an annoyed glare, making me redirect my focus to the table.

"Yes Professor." Draco replies, sending me one last glance. I snicker quietly, him rolling his eyes while wearing a small, discreet grin, before heading out of the classroom.

He doesn't return. 'Probably just skipping the rest of class.' I think to myself. I clean up the mess Draco had made and before I knew it the bell was ringing.

I catch up with Blaise as he is walking down the corridor, and tap on his shoulder. He turns around, I widen my eyes forgetting how intimidating he looked. I clear my throat softly. "Um, can you tell Draco to meet me in the library at 7 to finish our project?" I ask, nervously glancing in between his eyes and my feet.

"Sure." He says, turning to walk again. "Oh and y/n?" I turn around again. "I don't bite." He adds with a wink.

I stand awkwardly in the middle of the busy hallway for a few seconds before starting toward next class.

"Ron, don't eat all of the cheese puffs! Hermione's parents only send so much!" I shout, snatching the blue bag from his hands.

"What? They are delicious." He says licking his orange fingers. I roll my eyes, and all of us snicker a bit.

I glance up at the clock. 6:50. "Alright, It's my time to go." I announce standing up and grabbing my bag. Fred grasps my hand, pulling me down far enough to kiss him one more time. I grin as my cheeks grow light pink. "I'll see you guys later." I add, placing my hand on the door handle.
