Varys could no longer conceal his terrified expression. The weight of Bahamut's words hung heavily in the air. Bahamut continued to press him, his voice unyielding. "You must have learned something terrible, something that haunts your nightmares because of what you heard in those flames. It could be the very reason you've dedicated your life to gathering information and serving the realm here in Westeros. It's as if you're a stranger in a foreign land, driven by an unspoken purpose."

Varys couldn't hold Bahamut's piercing gaze any longer. The dragon's words struck fear deep into his heart. He knew that he might be a pawn in a grander scheme, manipulated by forces far beyond his comprehension, possibly tied to some malevolent god or an entity like the Lord of Light or even Bloodraven from the past.

Bahamut, however, wasn't entirely sure himself. He lacked the power to see the future or past clearly, and he dared not tamper with magic that might lead to his own demise. Instead, he decided to reveal his own unique existence.

"But nothing of what you heard in those flames will come to pass. " Bahamut stated. "Because I am a variable. A force that defies prediction. I have already altered the course of the future and the past, and I will continue to do so."

The crowd listened in awe, unable to fully grasp the magnitude of Bahamut's words what he meant. Already the existence of Bahamut is enough to scare them to core. He continued, "I am a Dragon, worshipped as the embodiment of magic. I was supposed to be dead, but I live, more powerful than ever."

Varys found it hard to believe, his thoughts jumbled as he tried to reconcile Bahamut's words with the cryptic message he had heard in the flames.

As Bahamut's voice resonated, the atmosphere darkened, and the sky thundered with lightning. A sense of impending change swept through the onlookers. Bahamut's eyes glowed, his very presence radiating power.

"I won't rest until this realm finds true peace," Bahamut declared. He roared with a mighty, echoing sound, shaking the ground beneath him. Other dragons joined in, their roars reverberating in unison, echoing Bahamut's proclamation.

Bahamut's words and roars carried far and wide, reaching every corner of King's Landing. Soldiers who had followed Bahamut, including those who guarded the walls and the castle, began to chant in unison, their voices ringing through the city, "For the Black Dragon! For the Black Dragon!"

Even Cersei, shaken from her traumatic ordeal, couldn't help but be awakened by the cacophony. In the prison, Davos and Stannis's daughter peered through the bars, their eyes drawn to the electrifying scene unfolding outside. The people of King's Landing were witnessing the birth of a legend, a force that could shape the destiny of the realm.

Bahamut rose from his resting position, commanding a hushed awe from the onlookers. Even Varys, who prided himself on being unflappable, couldn't help but take a step back. The cheers for Bahamut echoed both inside and outside the walls of King's Landing. The ground seemed to tremble with the power of the moment, culminating in a resounding roar from Bahamut that seemed to shake the very foundations of the city.

When the tumultuous applause finally quieted, Bahamut turned his gaze towards Varys, and the air seemed to grow heavier with anticipation. In a voice that carried the weight of authority, he spoke, "Varys Blackfyre, a descendant of dragon. By my decree, Bahamut Draconis Rexarion, you are hereby granted a pardon, absolving you of all charges and crimes brought against you."

Varys didn't hesitate. He immediately knelt before Bahamut, a surge of emotion welling up inside him. Despite his reservations about serving a Lord and his distaste for anything related to magic, the revelation he had just experienced left him eager to serve Bahamut.

"Lord," Varys began, his voice steady but brimming with sincerity, "I am ready and willing to serve you with all my heart."

He couldn't bring himself to meet Bahamut's gaze, his heart pounding in his chest. But then Bahamut's words came, a profound acceptance that left Varys breathless. "I grant you the privilege of becoming one of my own."

This meant he was serving Bahamut directly, not merely Aegon. But for Aegon, who had always admired Bahamut, this was a moment of pure elation. He cheered alongside the others, utterly captivated by the legendary daddy figure before him. The destiny of the realm had shifted, and Aegon was more than content to be a part of it.
