It was a perfect evening.  It wasn't too hot, but it wasn't freezing cold either.  Leia was happy that a fire could be enjoyed.  She was even happier that it could be at her house for a change.

When she had moved back in with her parents after she and Danny had split up, things just became unbearable.  Not that they were better before she and Danny moved in together.  She could never have people over, at least not in the way she wanted to.  Her dad didn't care.  Hell, he welcomed it.  Her mother, ugh.  "I don't want a bunch of people here.  It's an inconvenience.  I need my bathroom.  I don't want to have to get dressed."  Any lame ass excuse she could think of to keep from Leia having any sort of life.  It was always, "go to their house," or "why don't you meet them at Hilly's."  Then of course, that was never good either.  Because you know, Heaven forbid Leia stay out passed midnight with her friends, or worse, not come home period.  Then she would get the, "Why were you out all night?  Who were you with?  Can't you come home at a normal hour?"

It was no wonder that when she had moved out into her townhouse that she had gotten into a "slut phase" of her life. She hadn't had a chance to experience things that she should have by her age.  She didn't play the field, as the old saying goes, after she and Danny split.  Granted, a lot of that was because he had broken her heart, and it took her what seemed like a lifetime to patch it up.  But it was also because she didn't want to hear her mother complain about shit.  It wasn't until she turned thirty that she started putting money away to get out of the house.  That and her dad started asking about when he was going to get grand babies.  "Can I get a boyfriend first?" she asked her dad as he laughed.  Then she told him, "although I doubt that will happen anytime soon with the way Mom keeps me on a damn leash around here.  I can't have any fucking life.  I'm not fifteen.  I'm thirty and this is how she treats me."

Her thoughts were interrupted by Sam, holding Dylan in his arms.  "Uh, Lei, is there somewhere I can put him down?"

"Daddy, I sweepy," Leia heard come from Sam's shoulder.

"Awwww, of course.  Here, we'll get him on the pull out.  It's a queen, so he'll have plenty of room.  Would you like that Dylan?  A great big bed all to yourself?"  Sam's mini-me just nodded yes.  "Okay, come on," she led them into the living room, and started to pull the bed out.  Sam got Dylan under the sheet while Leia grabbed one of the pillows for him.  Then his little voice pipped up again?

"Daddy, what's this?"  and he pulled an open piece of foil out from under the sheet.

"Uh, well, that's, Leia?!"

Leia whipped around and saw what Dylan had found.  Her eyes bugged out of her head.  "Uh, that's nothing lil' man.  Just some trash.   Sorry about that."  She grabbed it from Sam as he took it out of his son's hand.  "Oh my God," she said in her brain, "Danny and I got a little sloppy!"

Sam gave his son a kiss on his forehead, watched as he closed his eyes and drifted quickly off to sleep.  He raised up off the bed and started to walk towards Leia, giggling a bit.

"Sam, I'm sooooooo sorry.  I didn't know that was there.  I promise.  I guess Danny and I. . ."

Putting a hand up, and giving a friendly smirk, "I get it.  Don't need the details hun."

"What details?" Danny asked coming in the back door, first somewhat loud, but changing to a whisper as Leia raised her index finger to her lips and then pointed at Dylan.  "Sorry," he whispered.

Sam walked over to him and quietly said, "He found your raincoat wrapper in the sheets, dumbass." At least Sam had a giggle to his voice.

"Oooooooh.  Well, hey, he's going to have to learn anyway right?"
